Lottery win is definitely my preferred plan. Then I could have my home boarding/dog daycare thingy and it wouldn't matter if I didn't make much money. I'd also build an additional kennel block for the local places who rescue poundies, so they could save more dogs.

    Afternoon my lovelies,

Hand shakes, hugs and squishes all round. Getting them if you like it or not :rotfl:

Done 3 miles today. Walked in to town and back out again.

Right finished all c word shopping for action man. Last of it ordered last night. Just stocking filler type stuff. Still a bit to do including a little something for actions mans parents. Biggest issue is wrapping it all up :( I can't wrap for toffee :rotfl:

Its all over the living room at the moment. So need to get it wrapped and out the way.

Asked action man if there any xmas do's I need to know about. And casually dropped in about a possible black tie event in the new year  Noooooooooooooooooooooo I hate things like that. feel like a animal in the zoo. or a prize heifer that is on show :(

Any way need to wrap some pressies up in a while. So I can clear some space in my living room. As action man and collie are staying here next week so need to make it tidyish :rotfl:

Any way everyone onwards and upwards

    Yours

Today has lasted about 96 hours so far, still another hour to go here then I finally get to start the 6hr journey home. I must have done something very bad in a former life.

    Nearly home time, Tea! :A

What treat have you got planned?

A 6-hour drive (?drive?) is no fun in the dark.

Or are you going by train?

Calley, send all of your presents to me, I adore wrapping!!

I keep trying to find somewhere near me that offers charity wrapping (drop your presents and paper off, give a donation to the charity, come back and it's all beautifully wrapped) so that I can volunteer :D

I normally use gift bags. But husband and action man have stockings so it has to be wrapped.

Izzy what a lovely idea. I just bodge it and hope it looks ok. The wrapping paper is going to be thrown away anyway :rotfl:well my excuse and I am sticking to it.

If you can imagine how a 5 year old wraps a present thats me :D I have no shame

Well, a bit of a while back, I did post about this free course!

Talking of which, I've started watching "Humans", and am fascinated!

I soooooooo want a Synth! Want one, want one!

The actors playing the Synths are brilliant!

On another level, it highlights the problems of being different in a society that thinks you're inferior in some way, and I can also see parallels with the history of black people and slavery, and the fight to be considered, not only as equal, but even to be considered as human!

I love Humans, are you watching the first series? I am on series two and waiting for the next episode. It does make you think and wonder if there will be anything similar in the future.

Were you able to tell them why you couldn't go, melly? Is it completely beyond them for someone to come to you instead?

Maybe things will feel a bit easier when you've got this horrible week out of the way.
