Ono, I kind of fell into programming by accident and loved it. Sadly, I don't get to do much in the new place. I've been using my free time to brush up my python skills on code academy though as that seems to be the way the industry is going.

I can't see myself being a 70 year old computer programmer though.

As per Pyxis' suggest, I have been throwing myself into the C-word planning and have been buying crafty things!! Every year I (stupidly) decide to make the presents. But the cost of making them is usually more than actually just buying stuff, especially this year where I've decided to make loads of stuff, including tree ornaments, teacup candles and flavoured little bottles of different alcohols and Mr CP wants me to add miniatures for his team at work. This is why I'm starting in November.

    Evening my lovelies,

Finally got up showered and went to the shops. And surprise surprise lodger has not paid me the rent for the month. He is paid in the middle of the month and that covers the entire month.

He is on badoo and I have just messaged him asking where my money is. Guess what no answer.

This is a bit TMI but have a massive sweat rash under one of my breasts  yay everything gets better and better :j

Need to look at earning money somehow now. Just what I need on top of everything else at the moment. With no car that will be interesting!!!!

Hugs and handshakes and squishes all round. I am in the fort bug free of course if anyone fancies cheering me up.

    Yours

    Calley X

Gitdog and elsien - that's fantastic.

    Where are you, WaS?

It is raining here (not in my bed, just outside). I want a duvet day.

I realised last night as I received my new martial arts belt, that I never actually hated sport. I just hate people looking at me while I am doing it. New 'fun' games in our class are such a stressor because I have to deal with new rules/techniques as well as everyone looking more at each other to check what we are doing. It is all compounded by being so overweight. (I am losing inches but not at a miraculous rate and no one bar my training partner actually notices).

So i have this understanding now but have no idea what I will do with the knowledge.

Plus I actually like watching other people as it energises me to try it myself.

Wish I could wander around in a bubble.

If it helps whitewing, when I'm doing a new move, I tend to check out someone who looks like they've got it down, so maybe if you start to feel self-conscious you can reassure yourself that you obviously look like you know what you're doing.

And well done gitdog. You're obviously much aligned by that meanie elsien. It's clear you're really an angelic dog. :rotfl:

So I'm going to a wedding later on today. Wearing a navy and black dress similar to this. . I clearly didn't think this one through as I can't decide on shoes and handbag or indeed a bra.

Ruling out sandals because it's November and 1°C here, I could wear patent black shoes with a matching black handbag or red patent lower heels shoes with a red patent irregular choice bag. Red is quite bright but the red handbag is much bigger than my black one, or I could go Nude shoes and bag but that would mean thinner natural tights.

The bra issue. Obviously the dress has an illusion neckline so bra straps will show through. . I have some clear straps but they'll still show a bit, but I will have a black short cardi on anyway. Or I could go Strapless but that's always a risk.

    Help!!!

Eta. Forgot to link to the dress here

As I was reading this, I immediately thought RED ACCESSORIES!

Go red! That's so stylish! The bigger the red bag the better!

Otherwise you might look like you're at a funeral! :rotfl:

My feeling re. the bra is to go strapless.

WW - I can sympathise with that as even basic tasks that I can complete almost on auto-pilot become ten times harder if I know someone's watching me. I like Code's suggestion of reassuring yourself that it's because you're doing well.

Code - I don't know if I'm being dim but there doesn't seem to be a link to the dress. I love red patent so that would probably be my choice.

The bra issue - if you're going to be wearing a cardi which covers the straps, go for whichever is your favourite 'best' one.
It's one time I'm grateful for having small boobs as a strapless bra gives me enough support. What the rubbery grip round the band does to my skin is my biggest problem, I end up looking like I have burn marks!!
