Could you ask the difficult person to help you in some way with the person who does like taking guidance, sort of an unofficial deputy for you? They may be more receptive to what you're trying to do if they're a bit more engaged in things.

Or that might be a terrible idea that makes things even more complicated :D

Am just thinking about the methods we use for difficult 7 yr olds!

Give them a little badge with "Prefect" written on it? :D

Basically, yes! :D They sound like perfect 'seconder' material.

Now that would be interesting, because the person who asks for help has MH problems and a lot of people find her hard to handle. Mrs. Prefect is one of those who finds her hard to handle. I can't see her agreeing to do anything like that! :D Plus it might cause a fire!:rotfl:

I was a prefect at school. That little tiny shield, a different coloured tie and a more comfortable seat in the assembly hall led to the miniscule amount of authoritaaaah that I had going right to my head. :rotfl:
And of course, you never abused that power, did you?,:rotfl:

Tonight I am angry. Angry about a MH system where people are left without support when they are particularly vulnerable then are left to pick up the pieces when it goes pearshaped. Where systems seem designed to let people slip through the gaps because services are frantically passing the buck to someone else.
Tonight I'm going to carry on being furious. Because I haven't been this angry in a long time. Tomorrow I'm going to try to work out what I can do in my own small bit of it.
    And breathe.
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

Get a badge off Lambyr and put the MH system people in detention, with lines.

elsien, hope your fury has morphed into cold, hard determination. In my medical records it pretty much says that I got treatment because of a complaint. It is sad that you have to get so bad. I can remember being utterly furious that basically I would have to do something criminal to get therapy. (The situation has changed a bit since then).

Busy day today. Hence I am lingering in bed when I could be up and running. (Not literally running - I am not that keen).

    morning my lovelies,

special hugs, handshakes and squishes all round to everyone even if you don't need them :rotfl: always nice to have some physical contact with people.

think my cold has broken as the coughing is not so bad.

still annoyed at lodger just up and leaving. he claims he moved out yesterday. umm how do you wash bedding and get it dry before I got home at 10.30am!!!! unless he has been sleeping in my bed:eek: funny thing is he let it slip when we chatted last week he had someone over for coffee when I was not here. I never said a word. am relived in one way as if me and action man live together wont have the hassle of having to get rid of him.

Anyway might get up and go for a walk. I know its early but might help start off the day.

    Catch you all laters

    Yours

    Calley
