I read that too fast. I thought it said the Lego man likes wearing womans shoes. I looked at the picture, and thought "Good luck walking in those!"0

[politics penguin]Weighing in on the EU debate, i didn;t vote as i couldn;t 100% agree fully with either side so really i have no right to comment. It saddened me yesterday to see so much hate. And sadly it came from both sides. An awful lot of people on my facebook voted remain and spent the day slagging off everyone who voted leave, many calling them all racist, i saw people defriend friends just for having a different opinion. I saw people slagging off the older generation (who to play devils advocate most have lived for the whole time we were in the EU and before then so have some experience even if it vote affect the majority of their future). I hate the fact we as a country are divided now more than ever.My take on it is, unfortunetly its what democracy is, we vote, one option wins. We can;t change that (a second vote is unlikely to do anything as the majority of people who've signed the petition were already in Remain majority areas anyway). We just have to hope we as a country, as a nation can deal with what we have in front of us. Its prbably going to be hard, but i hope that once the dust settles and people have calmed down from the intial shock that we can move forward. I know its a time of uncertainty but all the arguements in the world won;t change it. I admit i toook some of the insults personally as Swain's parents voted out-they're not racist or xenophobic-they just wanted change. And i respect their right to an opinion. [/penguin]
In other news, ive soent the entire day feeling drowsy/spaced out/almost drunk (have not consumed alcohol!) these new meds have kicked in and its really taking it out of me. I didn;t think i'd make it to the end of todays shift. I kept slurring whilst serving customers, burnt myself twice in 5 mins, kept making mistakes on the till, and at one point was sat on the stairs and told my supervisor "the workd is rotating (i think i was trying to say the room was spinning cos i was dizy but couldnt find the words). Really don;t know what to do about tomorrow. I can;t handle another shift feeling like i didd today but if i call in sick i will get a disciplinery. I called the work advice line and they gave me the number for ACAS as they can better advise me on a legal standpoint. It annoys me as (i'm in now way sayng bipolar is worse/more srious or anything this is just an example) if i had cancer and needed time of for chemotherpy i'm certain there would be no issue, but because it a s MH issue i worry it will be treated differently, despite the fact these medications are something i need to take and the fact i could die without them (by die i mean the risk of suicide would be quite high), i have this ilness for the rest of my life so is it so wrong to ask for some compassion? eve the royal collge of psychiatrists recommends staying off work when changing medications. Dandy,
:rotfl:
I have to admit he mentioned about liking high heels my heart sank as I thought he meant wearing them. I use to chat some other bloke who said that he liked to womans underwear
Each to there own.
Looks like tomorrow is off with lego man. Some work has overan. He phoned me to tell me as well as hear my voice. I think he thought I would be well peed off as not seen him in a week. I am of course disappointed. But no point chucking my toys out the pram. Can't change it.
Its of course a massive step forward for me. As with my ex I would have ranted and raved and gone mad about it. But then it was always happening with him. And he would never let me know.
Yours

Are you in a union, Georgie? They might be able to support you and offer advice?
Do you think you could manage a shorter shift tomorrow? Would there be anyone who could cover the extra for you? Also wondering if going in and having to leave would count as a sick day - it didn't with my last employer. Not great I know, but trying to think of ways round it for you.All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -

MU, thank you so much.
It feels different I know where I stand. And even after nearly 4 weeks we are texting numerous times a day.
They are lush. But no where to wear them ,
Please take a deep breath. You are doing the best you can. Have a huge hug from me.
Wish you lived near me. So I could give you more support.
Try and get the best nights sleep you can. And also talk to swain if it helps settle you.

Nont in the union but considering i might need to join. I rang teh work helpine but they couldn;t offer much advice bar contacting ACAS for employment/legal advice *they're not open till monday). I think i'm just going to have to see how i feel tomorrow and if i'm still feeling out of it call in sick and deal with the consequences. I didnt feel safe at work today, and it didnt feel fair on my collegeues who has to pick up the slack cos i couldnt function. I'm not on on a longshift tomorrow but i am on an earlier shift whihc means getting up at 9am and honestly i dont function well in morning anyway let alone on this new medicaton. Today my manager and area manager were both like "have some red bull" i;d already had 2 energy drinks and have to be very careful about how muhc caffeine i consume as it can trigger serotonion syndrome with my meds, so that wasn;t exactly helpful for me. (plus the caffiene had zero effect anyway)This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0
