I really hope you got some rest, Sue. Big hugs.
Have fun today, Pyxis! Please teach us lots about what you learn!
There is ESA form progress! They now have all the information they need to make a decision. I am scratching my head slightly because they wrote to my GP only. I gave them my consultant's addresses but they haven't used those for some reason. Is this odd? My GP does know my diagnosies obviously but if they wanted to know how my conditions affect me on a daily basis they would have done better to ask my Psychiatrist or Endocrinologist. I only see my GP once a year usually. Oh well, now there is apparently another wait while it all goes to the assessor, they have no idea how long that might take.

WaS - random thought but it may be there's more chance of getting a reply from a GP. When I worked in occ health we used to try and contact GPs and consultants (tbh, they were all notoriously bad at replying - and very expensive!) but I think GPs were slightly easier to get hold of. Perhaps with the previous info they have on file they know they won't actually need much more detail, if that makes sense.
Or it may just be mad government admin..... who knows?!
I went to a gig last night - very good but oh my, I am so tired now! Am daydreaming of my bed already.0 -
WaS, my perception, based on no more than being a user of the NHS, is that the GP is effectively the external interface of the NHS, so communication goes through them, at least initially. A consultant might move to another post, another hospital (etc), but the GP should still have all of your records and be able to answer questions from an external agency, or at least be able get an answer from the relevant person if they don't know. I couldn't tell you the name of the consultant I saw at the hospital last month, nor the surgeon, but if I needed to know I'd go to my GP in the first instance.
Anyway, that's just my hypothesis for why they might go to your GP in the first instance.
tea, who did you see? Chances are I've never heard of them, being about 20 years out of touch on popular musicProud member of the wokerati, though I don't eat tofu.Home is where my books are.Solar PV 5.2kWp system, SE facing, >1% shading, installed March 2019.Mortgage free July 20230 -

That video is a classic - they played it behind the band last night, was so good!
Their recent stuff is brilliant too. I reckon most people think they did a couple of albums in the 80s but they've had loads since.
As you can tell - I'm a big fan0 -
Hi We were at Margate seaside weekend gone. In the sea side grabber machines were sloths! Thought of you all - Tried our best to win one for you but they were happy to stay and play in the fruit machines watching the seagulls

Hi All. I hope it was a good Easter and that everyone is now suitably sick of chocolate.
WaS - the description of catatonic schizophrenia was fabulous and far more informative than any text book I read at college!!
Tea - Morten Harket was one of my biggest childhood crushes. I was listening to A-Ha on the radio the other day and was pleased that he still sounds really good.
Sorry for missing out loads of posts I was going to reply to but work's been stupidly busy recently so it's just a quick fly by to say hello and offer hugs to all that want/need them xx0
