Swain has insisted I come to his for cuddles and some much needed TLC, and chinese too. So hopefully that might perk me up a bit.

Its really annoying when someone tells you they had the same illness so know how you should have reacted.

elsien,
as I am convinced that gitdog is really a small child in a fursuit, try what I would do in similar circumstances with my real children, ie make an idiot of myself.
Lie on the rubber floor, wailing, 'it's a rubber floor, oh no, rubber - don't come on the rubber floor, it's too dangerous!' Roll around in pretend agony, with exaggerated silly faces and gestures - think Mr Bean.
When he starts sniggering, tell him not to be such a wally.
Had to do similar today when littlewing wouldn't go into the toilet at a new venue as the light wasn't on - it had automatic lighting. Now she thinks it is the best thing about the place.:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.0 -
If I tried that I'd need a crash helmet to stop the stupidly overexcited Gitdog leaping on me and biting my head and ears.:rotfl: Perhaps somewhere in the middle would do the trick without needing a tetanus jab.All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Time for a cute Good Morning post!
I have fallen in love with Pangolins. They are endangered sadly but are absolutely adorable with a fascinating evolutionary history. They were originally thought to be related to anteaters but believe it or not they are from an entirely different evolutionary tree and are related to carnivores. They adapted to the environment of forests which had a common food supply of ants. Hence why they have the long tongues and noses of anteaters but biologically they are a different species. Their long claws are for digging burrows and climbing trees and their scales are made from the same substance as our fingernails.

Hope everyone had a lovely Easter weekend. I had a couple of lovely evenings out with friends, and went to see the otters at our local Blue Reef aquarium yesterday

I'd never heard of a Pangolin, they are so cute!
I had my Italian friend come to stay over Easter, which as always meant a lovely weekend catching up as we rarely see each other.
Don't know if anyone else has the same reaction as me, but even though I enjoy doing it, I need some time to recover from hosting guests as I end up exhausted, despite not doing anything strenuous.
