Faerie, look, you been offered help, and you're willing to give it a go. That's a big something.

You've acknowledged the problem. That's another biggie.

All I know is that there comes a time when something in my brain gets triggered and then I find I can stick to healthy eating. I wish I could identify that trigger and bottle it! I'd make my fortune!

Well, I'm off to Spain next week for some more singing! Maybe that'll jolt me out of this mindset! (There shouldn't be any wifi problem).

You would make a fortune Pyxis! my Ed is something I find really hard to acknowledge to myself, and I find it really hard to talk about.. Writing my post was hard, but I felt inspired by you guys talking about it, so I am really trying to get the courage to face how bad it's got, and writing on here makes it more real, and hopefully will help me face it, as well as the MH support I now have.. I'm sure that they will be skilled in dealing with ED, seeing as it's a BPD/trauma service.
Many thanks to all who contribute on MSE :)

Minor meltdown at work. Workload now reduced but my new boss now probably thinks I can't prioritise well enough. :(. It's not prioritisation that's the problem, it's not wanting give a poor service when the resources just aren't there.
    Roll on next week.

    Hello Bluebell!

Sorry to hear about your situation. Not good.

I don't think there was anything you needed to penguin in that post. :A

Do your sons help with your OH at all?
Or do they help you to do stuff? If they don't, they should be, really, if they live at home.

Bluebell, it's May - fabulous time of year for bluebells! I got friends on this thread long before I made a new real friend.

pyxis, great - more holiday photos!

And warm wishes being sprinkled about to everyone. I can't remember everything else that is going on.

This thread is like a home from home for me. It is the supportive, enriching environment that I never had. It gives me daily courage, and as you are a wordsmith, you can coin a new word for that - a little courage to get one through the day (instead of sex, drugs, alcohol, food and all our other 'coping' mechanisms).

A 'bravelet'? (You could wear one on your arm! Hahahaha)

A 'bolding'? (That's bigger, and heavier! You might need to carry it in a backpack!)

Or take 'bravery', mix it with 'valour' and you get............
    'valery'! Hahahahahahahahaa!
