I hope it is a sunny day for your husband, SDW. I do understand what he means, I skim news headlines and run like the wind from anything likely to upset me. fortunately I hardly have anyone on my Facebook (billy-no mates here!) and those I do have like my teacher friend tend to post pictures of people cuddling elephants so I am safe. I avoid politics because I inevitably end up viewing myself as a benefit scrounger that everyone talks about and then I just feel worthless. I always want to reply that there are some of us who remember working as the happiest time of our lives and would love to go back to it.

    Hahahaha! That's my cloud, Pyxis!

I have kept the past forms and that is a great idea to add notes over the next couple of years. I know you are right, let's face it I couldn't even make tea reliably for the boss without an A&E trip. I know I can't work, I even asked my psychiatrist when I saw him and he said my wish to is admirable but would be dangerous and I really wouldn't cope with it.

The decision maker is going to send me the medical report and a breakdown of the decision although he told me most of it. You usually have to ask for that but since they introduced the safeguarding rule with me they seem to be a lot more helpful. The score of 97 points for being unable to work right now shocked me, I wasn't expecting it to be that high. He also told me that after reviewing my form that he thought that I was very brave which was sweet of him. I no longer think of decision makers as faceless people deciding one's fate, he was very kind and kept telling me to forget ESA exists until April 2018. I am trying!

Haven't caught up on the thread yet.

In view of recent successes, I think the new thread, when we do it, could be called

We ARE being heard (a little bit)

    Happy weekend!

I agree with pyxis WaS your job is to educate and support.

OH is having a bad day so I am in room with dogs, this mornings walk pickles tried to teach Boo how to hunt, and got frustrated that he's too noisy and was scaring birds off.
Just called her in for breakfast, so pop head out click and call then this brown and ginger blur squeaks it's way to me, jumps up, cleans my eyes bites my nose and runs off.

OH thinks she thinks I'm her mum.

I want a house with a Gitdog accessible garden - watching him flingdinging around parent's garden makes me realise how much happier and calmer he'd be.
Unlikely to happen with next doors knotweed getting ever closer though. I am currently on a mission to see if the council will take action. And may have to start buying lottery tickets again.

WaS you are far far from useless or pointless! Ok so the ESA report says you can't work right now, granted I undestand that it's hard to read that, but someone's job does not define their worth! You are so much more than that! Think of all the people this thread and you have helped, and you started this all! You bravely posted about your situation and in doing so gave other the confidence to share their expeiences, you brought people together. Is that pointless or worthless? Far from it, it's bloody wonderful. You're amazing WaS so please don't let the whole ESA thing make you feel like you're not.

Please try to be as good to yourself as we would all like to be for you.

You need strength for you and oh etc.

Is there any easy way of getting nutrients into you - smoothies , soups, ice creams with fruit etc. How about protein drinks from your gp or complan etc?

    Evening Shipmates,

Hugs, handshakes and squishes to all.

((((WaS)))) sorry you are struggling. You are far from useless. I am in awe of your knowledge of your mental health issues. You are amazing.

((((Melly)))) my heart goes out to you. You too are flipping amazing. Maybe weighing and measuring is not a good idea. Maybe having regular meal times might help. Even if all you do is have one mouthful at each.

Things seem to be on the up this end. Not going to say anything about it as that might jinx it. Just see how it plays out.

Everyone be kind to yourself. Forgive your self, love yourself. And remember everyone is amazing and fab in there own way.

And don't forget we are here to support you in anyway that we can.

    Yours

    Calley

Waves.. are you feeling a tiny bit better new the weather's cooled down? When you went to the bpd place, was it outpatients or residential? I was offered a residential place one, but I turned it down, as I didn't want to have to give my cats away. Melly.. so sorry to hear your struggles with weight and food.. Have you ever had those tiny drinks that have all the nutrients on, that you can get prescribed from the dr? When I was a low weight and couldn't cope with eating solid food, I had 6 of those a day, and they were good.
Many thanks to all who contribute on MSE :)
