A lot of it is stuff like tools, nails and screws etc, plumbing and electrical stuff. Dust sheets. Where do other people keep these things?
Pretty much everything that we don't use much gets stashed in the loft. Stuff that we're likely to want to be able to get to easily goes in the spare room, the office or the cupboard of doom.
I realised yesterday just how much rubbish we had floating around in the spare room when I was trying to tidy it up ready for my boyfriend's family arriving tomorrow. There was still a bag of Christmas presents which hadn't been sorted and put away!!0 -
I'm having the weird urge today to spend money. To buy things I don't really need
Like, almost a compulsion to do it! :O
I did get bought a lovely present from a colleague who's leaving work though, so that made me happy

It's a martial arts/self defence thing. At some point, someone is going to want to punch or kick my face, and I don't just mean Mr CP. :rotfl:Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0

Good afternoon all!
Want to do my flat next, Pyxis? Because it so small various 'stuff' builds up here very quickly. It is messy right now, it's clean but there are many things without a home. I have been contemplating buying a wardrobe from my lovely charity that sells them for £10, we don't have one so there are clothes everywhere. That would probably make a big difference.
Do you stretch before tidying, Pyxis? It sounds strange but my physiotherapist told me to do stretches before I attempt it just as if I was exercising.
Big hugs to you and your dear husband, SDW. I hope he feels better soon and you are doing ok.
Well done, Code! What a great thing to do!
Maybe buy something small, HBS? When I feel like that I find buying something I wouldn't usually purchase works, even if it is only £2.
WaSp's blood pressure is still high on the diastolic number but normal on the systolic. They have changed his medication again. He is having no luck with this at all and unfortunately every new pill comes with initial side effects, as soon as they start to wear off he is put on a different drug and it starts again. Poor WaSp.
I have a little less withdrawal today so that's good. I have lost the urge to spontaneously stop my benefits and medication and get a job to try and save the world. Let's be honest, I wouldn't last a week but my heart is in the right place.
My antipsychotics are only slightly higher than normal now which makes me feel a lot more human and my antidepressant is still doubled, I have agreed to leave it that way until the ESA is resolved. The downside is the voices are back as are the intrusive thoughts for hours before I sleep but as I described trying to medicate these symptoms makes me feel so physically unwell that it isn't worth it. I have lots of coping strategies so I prefer it this way, although the total calm for a few weeks was nice for the about 6 hours a day that I managed to stay awake!Until one has loved an animal a part of one's soul remains unawakened - Anatole France
