Happily - well done for remembering your meds.
If anybody has any sleep could I please have some? A combination of a really annoying cough which is making it harder to get to sleep and then waking me up as well and my boyfriend doing overtime until a silly hour and managing to wake me up when he came to bed means I'm very, very tired and dozy today. Oh well, it could be worse, I could've taken the cough mixture I got yesterday lunchtime. I didn't think to check that it was a non-drowsy one, it made for a rather interesting afternoon at work!!0 -
Just popping to suggest we all hide in the duvet fort and don't watch the news today.

I agree with you completely. Trying to think of blue skies, rainbows and unicorns.
I have the sore throat and cough that is going around and managed to get some sleep last night which helped a lot. Having lots of hot drinks today as dds are taking me away for a few days on Thursday and I don't want to be spluttering and coughing all over them.
House is full of unpacked boxes, new plaster, part stripped walls and horrible carpet. The area is nice and quiet and eventually it will be worth the work needed.

Good evening all!
Big hugs, Happily. I am so sorry.
I am avoiding the news!
You can have some of my sleep Izadora! Although I am down to 11 hours a day which is a huge improvement.
Hope you feel better soon, elona. As you say, I bet your little home will be wonderful. Face it a bit at a time.
I am relatively ok except I have some withdrawal from the last antipsychotic reduction. We had been reducing by 10mgs a time but for the final reduction we opted for 25mg so I am feeling it more and it has triggered slight psychosis. Fortunately it isn't that bad, I just have somewhat manic thinking and my emotions are very heightened so the slightest sad thing feels like a total tragedy that I must fix for the world.
I am very lucky in that my psychosis rarely involves anything dangerous to myself or others unless it is very bad, instead I tend to develop a huge sense of responsibility to help everyone and become fixated on society's problems and how I can solve them. It isn't pleasant because I feel a lot of guilt and helplessness but it could be worse and at least I am the opposite to a danger to anyone. With me it is more a case of beware the psychotic who is going to rush into your home and try to make your life better! :rotfl:Until one has loved an animal a part of one's soul remains unawakened - Anatole France

It's gone very quiet on here!
I have been tackling the boxes in my "workroom". The stuff filled the room, so in order to sort it, an awful lot has spilled out onto the landing, temporarily.
Some things are being sorted out to go, but to be honest, most is stuff that will be staying, and their boxes will have to be re-piled up. Out of about 20 large RUBs, I guess that two boxes-worth of stuff will go. That still leaves an awful lot of boxes of stuff.
A lot of it is stuff like tools, nails and screws etc, plumbing and electrical stuff. Dust sheets. Where do other people keep these things?
Then there's all my craft stuff, which I'm not doing at the moment, but will go back to if I become less active later on.
Then there are my emergency boxes, with things like candles and batteries, a butane gas camping stove, corded phone,, butane gas heaters, etc. in case of a power cut.
I am going to be ruthless with other stuff, like a box full of games and toys from my childhood which is all in poor condition, so have no sale value. Really poor condition! Bits missing, mouldy marks, etc!
Am vacuuming as I go.
All this has made my poorly joints flare up, so I've been in a lot of pain too.(I just lurve spiders!)

I'm counting the hours until Friday - I am going to sleep late and have a bit of a pamper day!
Was very scared yesterday as some of my friends are in Belgium. Thankfully, they have all gotten in touch and are fine so I am feeling grateful for that today.
So...tired...need...caffeine...
