Whatever number your age is, pretend it's dog years!
A dog's first year equates to 21 human years. Each subsequent dog year equates to 3 human years.
So, reverse that ; a human who is , say 40 years old, is , in dog years, 7years old!

I've got a big meeting tomorrow, after 5 years, I've finally go a face to face meeting with the chief executive of the hospital to find out what they are going to do to stop cancelling planned surgeries and force people to get life threateningly ill and have emergency surgeries. I am fighting to make the hospital safer. I want to make the horror of what I went through medically, curtesy of them, count. If I can safe 1 life, or even quality of life, then something good cam come from my experience. I want to fight for everyone who is too seriously ill to have a voice. I am not going to be fobbed off with their politician speak 'we're doing everything we can', I want concrete plans and I want to hold them accountable to those plans! I'm nervous and I'm hoping my anxiety doesn't get in the way. I have a spare valium, I think I'll take it, just to help my nerves.. Wish me luck guys!! I sent the letter I wrote to my mother today, I feel really anxious, it was harsh and confronting she's not going to like it, or me..I've never ever written anything so harsh to her, but she doesn't like me anyway so I really don't have anything to lose!! I think I wrote a dam good letter though! it is to the point, and it contains the essence of everything I always needed to say, but didn't have to courage. ! My journalist dad would be proud!

thanks tory! I do feel lighter, for writing it, but I feel anxiety too, and guilty that she is going to be devastated when she reads it.. it's so stupid, after all she's done to me, but I really don't like hurting anyone, even her. It needed to be written and sent though, but I've written anything so assertive before x
