Guess who won
No milk for Melly (so no tea after next cup, or cereal lol) but tomcat will have food (and as this is not his fault at all that's very important)

Just had a bloke at work throw a proper hissy fit - I shouldn't laugh but it was pretty funny. I'm supposed to be developing a new system for something (won't bore you with details) - basically I believed this guy's self-hype and wasted the best part of 6 months trying to develop something that was never going to work for a variety of reasons. He seems enthusiastic but there isn't actually anything there to back it up.
Am now frantically trying to put together a plan B and he keeps hassling me about his new (also never going to work) ideas. I've tried the "v busy, maybe later" approach for a few weeks but today have had to be ruthless and say that I don't have any more time to spend on this and I'm going with a different approach. He then stormed off in a proper strop.0 -
Oh good, he's just come back round to tell me what I'm mistake I'm making and what a horrible person I am.... before saying he wasn't taking any of it personally! That's really encouraging me to work with him.0

Oh I so love Keswick (well, everywhere in that neck of the woods
) I'm definitely overdue a visit back up north.

North Yorkshire moors are another favourite place.I'm not sure where you are but I'm hoping that it's nicer up north than down south today - it's very grey and cold in London but I'm off to Manchester this afternoon.
.
Yes, it's a lovely town! Not as many cool little giftshops as there once were (mainly outdoor clothing places now!) but still lovely for a walk round and a visit to the sweetie shop! Going down to the lake and crow park is nice and relaxing.
Izzy, I live in Cumbria which is beautiful when the weather is warm and sunny, but when it's rainy and dull, not so much lol! Although I guess the same could be said about anywhere!
No offence to anyone who lives in Manchester, but I don't think I have ever been to Manchester and known it to be sunny!Hope the sunshine extends down to there for you!

Tea, he sounds like a right kn*b!
I hate it when people sulk, I'm like "grow up!" Hope he stays away for the rest of the day and let's you get on with your work in peace.
