Well now I could go to sleep no problem - now I'm at work with loads to do and no idea how to get going on any on it. Typical :rotfl:.
Snap!! I finally got to sleep at about 2 this morning, was wide awake when my alarm went off at 6 and now want nothing more than to crawl back into bed but I'm on a half-day today, which means I've pretty much got to do a day's work by 1pm...
Right, off to get coffee!!!
P.S. WaS, definitely e-mail the psychiatrist. I think the majority of people who go into a job like that do so because they want to help others so knowing that he's achieved that will be fantastic.0 -
((((Tea)))) Hope another coffee helps to perk you up abit. I hate it when you can't drop off to sleep, especially when you know you have a busy day/somewhere to go to the next day, grrrr!
Wow Melly! You go girl, so in demand!
Another lovely sunny warm day here! Went to Keswick yesterday, ended up coming back with some Kendal Mint Cake liqueur, it's very yummy actually!0 -
Oh I so love Keswick (well, everywhere in that neck of the woods
) I'm definitely overdue a visit back up north.
Have done two teeny things from my to do list, so time for another three hours of procrastination before the next job. Am also listening to a v annoying conversation behind me, that I really can't join in with but have VERY strong opinions on.... may have to go for a walk!0 -
Keswick is beautiful
North Yorkshire moors are another favourite place.
Can't do it, can anyone do two interviews a day?
WaS did I say to email him? I can't remember

I'm not sure where you are but I'm hoping that it's nicer up north than down south today - it's very grey and cold in London but I'm off to Manchester this afternoon.
Melly - while it's probably possible, if you leave enough of a gap between them, to do two interviews in one day I wouldn't have thought it was advisable. I know that if I tried I'd end up thinking about the second one in the first interview and vice versa so would come across as distracted to both prospective employers.0 -
That's my thoughts Iz
Plus I don't want to distract myself more than I am already lol0 -
I did it once melly but I did spend most of the first one worrying about getting to the second one on time. Plus I got lost on site during the first one (huge site, very unhelpful security guy).
Although it was nice only having to get out of pj's once0 -
procrastination
Suffering from that here. I need a test program to help with a problem someone has reported and remember that I already did something similar 18 months ago that I could re-use. I've spent so much time this morning looking for the code I wrote then (sort of, between making cups of tea and reading on here) I could probably have written it again from scratch!
