same almost happened me but rang back when i realised the model they said there were sending was vented. They cancelled the delivery but not the collection so they still came.

Didnt hear anything and rang back, you may need to call as the order was stuck in limbo as they can only have 1 delivery per address I was told.

My 8kg indesit came yesterday :T
Yeah, they had just put the wrong machine on the van, so the delivery driver rang them up and sorted it there and then.

I've tried contacting John Lewis & Whirlpool/Hotpoint on their FB pages. I now have a JL "customer care manager" assigned but all they'll offer is a quicker repair - I've tried and they won't budge. This is for my parents who are in their 80s: Mum is awaiting a hip replacement and has multiple medical conditions, Dad has already had one heart attack. Appalling customer service. They bought it from John Lewis for the longer guarantee and better customer service - what a joke !

With the greatest respect, what has that got to do with a tumble dryer , Whirlpool or John Lewis?

Whatever AJXX and I say in this thread has nothing to do with you. If you have nothing to contribute I suggest you spend your time looking for grammatical errors and spelling mistakes, sumfing we all reely nead.

If you think it has nothing to do with other people perhaps you should use PM's to communicate with one another.

That post was in reply to one person 'LABMAN' who had been rude enough to have his post deleted. Unfortunately they didn't delete my quote.

Clearly yours are low! Almost daily you use the words 'would of' in your postings instead of 'would have'...I would be embarrassed to do so ..you appear to wear it is a badge of honour!
