    Found my list...

    My 6 by Spring items:
Benefit Foamingly Clean Facial Wash - as I've been going to the gym more in the mornings and showering there I'm not using this as often as I used to be. I may decant into a smaller bottle for the gym and top up when needed
Benefit Dallas - think I'm almost hitting pan on this, thinking of putting it away though now and getting a more spring colour out
Benefit long wear powder shadow in call my buff - have hit pan and am just going around the edges
Benefit long wear powder shadow in kiss me, I'm tipsy/thanks a latte - hit pan on thanks a latte this morning which was exciting, there is no end in site for the other one
Benefit long wear powder shadow in gilt-y pleasure - have hit pan and am just going around the edges
    Maybelline chunky kohl pencil:beer:

So I was definitely over optimistic when I decided on what I was going to use but the end of March seemed so long away!! Like I say above it's definitely made me actually use these products though so in that sense the challenge was a success!

Val and Dolly - thanks for the info re transitional colours, I had no idea what they were:o

Some INs to report, the cleansing oil is to replace the Superfacialist one that I should finish this week. I am not up to speed on contouring etc, so decided to have a play with an inexpensive shimmer brick to see if they were for me:)

    IN
Seventeen Shimmer Brick Pink Bronze 1/9
195ml Elemis Omega Rich Cleansing Oil 2/10
50ml Elemis Omega Rich Cleansing Oil 3/11

I have rediscovered this company, off to play with some eyeshadow application before I place an order for one or two things:D I have grey/white hair (which I love) and there are some lovely make up effects to follow which I am sure will suit me:D:D

Even when you hit pan this stuff takes forever to UU. A good thing though, I suppose.

I like the sound of this as I have quite a few items that I have hit pan on plus items I need to keep in rotation:-

Laura Geller eyeliner - keeps breaking when I use it so have not been reaching for it.

Benefit Boing concealer - hit pan

Benefit Lemon Aid - hit pan - when I finish either of these products I intend to buy the NYX colour correcting palette.

Laura Geller Bronze n Brighten - hit pan

Smashbox lipgloss - It Girl - stopper is out.

OPI mini polishes - to keep using them up in rotation. Have taken Red Lights Ahead ... Where? Out to use.

Elemis Evening Blooms oil. Will keep decanting into a pot to apply to cuticles.

  • Today finished the loreal eye make up remover as a skin cleanser- an amazing product for cleansing skin useless for eye makeup. WNBA.
Almost bought the caudlie tinted moisturiser: Caudalie Teint Divin Mineral Tinted Moisturizer and Polyphenol C15 Anti-Wrinkle Protect Cream moisturiser, as its on 3 for 2 and skin has not looked this good in a long time. I feel that I have found a range that just suit me. But I’ve so much foundation to use up. I have to wait till at least one foundation is used up.

So I’m at the rotten stage where there are few easy outs.
I need to thin down the stash- will I ever use it or can it be used by some one else. Can it be repurposed. Sometimes you have to accept that you made a mistake and there is no chance that it will be used. In this case it needs to be decluttered.

    Six by the summer
No.7 eye pencil (about 2 inches left)
    Lancome foundation
Lancome highlighter powder (hit pan and using the rims)
    Clinique touraround concentrate (half left)
Clinique eye cream (Vaseline like texture- lovely)
    trilogy antioxidant plus oil.
I have no idea how to use up a bottle of berts bees royal jelly.

    Thanks VALM and Dolly.

I like the sound of 7 by Summer, I'll bring the eye shadows from last time and will have a look at a few more items as well. I'm happy if I just bring them into my regular every day use to be honest and make a dent in the products! I shall report back once I've decided.

I've just realised I haven't updated on my 6 by Spring List. Will join again for the 7 by Summer. Will have a look and decide in my choices...
Bare Minerals Brow Pencil- Universal Taupe- TA, this shade didn't suit me anyway, so when the wind up mechanism got stuck and I couldn't wind up the stick I decided life was too short and binned it. WNBA!

Lord & Berry Black Silk Kajal kohl liner- still going! It's been a tiny stubb for ages, but it's still going strong. Will probably roll this over into my Summer Challenge :)

Rimmel Scandaleyes eye pencil-Nude- This is going to take me the rest of the year to finish I suspect. I'm not sure why I thought I would use this up. It was a nearly new pencil, that I only use on my lower waterline! I do use it daily, but even so, this is going to last me forever!!! I do really like it though. I really want to try the Urban Decay one they just released, but it's definitely not needed any time soon :(

Bare Minerals Marvellous Moxie lipgloss - Go Getter. There's still about half the tube left of this. I haven't really used it tbh...I think it's the wrong time of year for this shade, I might roll this into the summer challenge, as it's definitely more of a spring/summer product :)

Monu Illuminating Primer- TA, my skin hated this stuff, make up didn't sit on top of it properly....yeah, it just wasn't for me. WNBA

Elf Concealer- rosy beige. Hurrah! A product I actually UU during the challenge! Was a nice shade match for me as a brightening under eye concealer. WBA, as I also liked the formula.

I'm going to think much more carefully about the products I pick for my summer challenge, and that they are actually products that I can UU in the time frame, and that it is seasonally appropriate in shade/colour etc...

Has anyone seen the new Urban Decay highlighters? I want one so badly! Shame I already have way too many highlighters, it's a product I can never resist. Love a good highlight! Shall we take bets on how long it takes for me to cave in and get one???? :o:o:eek:

I know what you mean! I don't usually do a PP so was shocked at how long things actually take (which I suppose is a good thing). I've decided though that as long as I've made a dent I'm happy!
