Reporting in re Finish 6 by Spring. I UUed Cliniqure Lash Power and Benefit Roller Lash mascaras, no7 highlighter, Cargo blush. I did also have MUA eyeshadows from the Undressed palette but threw these away when I was given the UD Naked palette. I am putting my Benefit Dallas blush away because I'm a bit bored of using it.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

Ooops, another UU I forgot!
Elemis Papaya enzyme peel - full size finished! I have another full size in the cupboard waiting thoughI do really like this, though would never buy full price - but my mum often gets it in offers and gives it to me, or I find an offer. Used up the last of the tube last night on my face and decolletage which had gotten a bit battered from travelling and generally not being looked after. Felt and looked so much better after!
And one small in:
Carmex lip balm tube. Needed a new lip balm with a bit more oooomph, so have treated myself to an old favourite.
VALM - I'm so impressed by all your ebay efforts. I have loads of stuff I should put on there, but I'm just so lazy about it. I need to get my behind in gear.
Gemzie - Theo sounds adorable! I'm glad you are enjoying having him0 -

Got a tester of caudalie vinoperfect tinted moisturiser and it is lovely. It has good coverage- it really impressed me (I used a concealer- it was a really fast and nice look- effortless. I finished a tester of the caudalie eye balm- not great. However, loved the caudalie polyphenol c moisturizer spf 20, lovely- will buy the full one.
Finished the Clinique oil tester- it was not impressive. It does not stink but other than that it did not have any great effect. I view testers now as essential as it has saved me a mistaken purchase. If a company refuses to give a tester, they must not have much faith in their products’ effectiveness.
Re-purposing eye make up remover from l’oreal that made my eyes sting as a micellar water. It removes everything but the eye make up. Waste not want not.
Got in loads items and all given away items neither counted in the stash. 2 from stash given away and one more to follow at least.
Thanks for the kind words- it was really appreciated. Sometimes life deals you a bad hand but a few more deals the hand may not look so bad. I decided to make a lot of changes, walk away from what will not change and actively choose quality of life. but I am thankful I am in a position to do so. How I had to come to that conclusion was not pleasant but it was the final straw. Since making the decision and acting on it a weight has been removed from my shoulders.0 -

I have an in of the 5 day Clinique Beyond Perfecting Foundation trial. I tried it out today and don't like it. It is super thick and hard to blend, it is a bit shiny and has sunk into pores I didn't know I had and it has also creased around my eyes and chin.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

Couple UU to report:
Listerine advanced defence gum treatment mouthwash - WBA I'm not keen on listerine generally as its strong stuff but I think this meant it did its job well! I had to water it down a tiny bit or it made my eyes water! Did the job great though and it makes your mouth feel very clean. Will probably get this again at some point.
Boots extracts almond body wash 75ml- Wnba this really disappointed me. I was expecting it to smell like the body butter but all I got was a soapy smell and no matter how much I used only the faintest smell on the skin after showering. Such a shame as I love the body butter. It shouldn't have been off as it wasn't that old. I have a few more of these in stash so will try those at some point and see if any better. No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries 2015/2016/2017/2018

Gemzie - really happy you have a lovely new furry family member.
One UU to report:
Lush Fresh Farmacy Facial Cleanser -WBA - This is in a bar but when you rub it on your skin it makes kind of a cleansing milk. It's really calming for my skin but it annoyed me slightly that my bar dried out so much after a while I had to keep it soaked in water to get it to produce any lotion. I think if I bought a bar and used it religiously and stopped chopping and changing, this wouldn't have happened.
This should be the case from now on as I'm now down to my goal of two cleansers! Yay! One make up remover, one general face wash. My current general one is an ancient (I think it is literally 20 years old) bar of Clinique face soap but it still lathers up perfectly and smells good so I'm gonna use it up before I buy any more lush stuff.
I'm really enjoying the emptier space in my cupboards after working on this challenge for the past few months. It's encouraging me to use the products and pamper myself a bit more. Having less choice for the basics makes my life simpler too and not as boring as I thought.Grocery Challenge £114.22/ £1100 -

Hi all. Really should be getting some sleep but don't feel at all tired so I'm reporting some ins and outs. Ins first. I went into town and my sister asked me to pick up the carrots bubble bar set from Lush. So this happened.
26. French Kiss Bubble Bar. Had before. Loved.
27. Olive Branch Shower Gel. Same.
28. Skydancer Bath Bomb. The profits go to charity so it would have been rude not to buy it!
29. Twilight Bath Bomb.
I also got a L'Oreal Elvive Fibrology Booster in Superdrug as it was better than half price and I did say when I UU'd the last one I would buy it again if it was cheap.
Couple of UUs:
23. Primark Madagascan Vanilla Candle. WDBA. I'm quite picky about vanilla scents and this one is so nice, especially as the size I got was £1. Lasted about 8 hours at a guess which I think is pretty good.
24. Korres Citrus Body Milk mini. WNBA. Think this was from a beauty box. Not very moisturising. Didn't smell nice. I haven't had a Korres product I've liked I don't think.
Also some GAs.
2. Rimmel Stay Matte Primer. I really tried with this but it doesn't agree with me. Much prefer the Rimmel Fix and Perfect I bought last week so will pass this onto a friend.
3. Collection Hot Chocolate Eyeshadow Stick. Compared to Rimmel Scandaleyes and Bourjois Colorband, this just doesn't cut it so it doesn't get used. Have sharpened it down so it's ok for a friend to use.
4. LA Colours Jumbo Eyeshadow Pencil. Same as above
Despite my near constant ins, I'm feeling quite good about this month. I'm making progress on other things I don't bother counting like unscented candles, tealights, deodorants etc. Also cleared out about 50 paperbacks from a shelf on my bookcase today and it's so nice seeing space! I'm going to try and do a shelf/drawer in my room every day this week and be ruthless so there may be more GA and TA before the month's out.
Palette for the week is Makeup Revolution Beach and Surf. It's mostly shimmery neutrals with a couple of bright pastels. Seemed appropriate as the sun is starting to show its face. Also pulled out my two Barry M Showgirl mascaras as I haven't used them for a while.
Hope everyone's had a good weekend. I'm so pleased this week is a four-day one!!0
