VALM - I have the Too Faced Natural Eyes, Romantic Eyes, Matte Eyes and the big holiday palette A Few of my Favourite Things. I love them all.
.
They all look lovely. I like the look of the Country one as well. Do you buy yours from Debenhams or from Too Faced direct?
I have sold my Maybelline Nudes Pallette on The Bay. Perhaps I can justify a new palette now??
Have a UU: Avene cleanser. This was mixed in a solution of water and decanted into a little spray bottle taht I've been spot cleaning my brushes with. Will refill the bottle with a solution of baby shampoo and water next.
I think the following items will be UUed this week:-
Elemis PCMC - tube cut open.
Elemis cleanser - about 1/5th left
Mac prep & prime - making pht pht noise.
No7 foundation - tube is squishy
Smashbox lip gloss - stopper removed
LUSH cosmetic warrior mask - very little product left
John Freda Frizz Ease Shampoo - squishy tube
Hawaiian Tropic Body butter - hit pan.
L'Occitane Foot cream - the tube is now squished up by one of their keys.
Vichy Eye cream - can't actually tell how much is left but it feels like I have been using this forever.
LE Skin Repair Light - pump bottle feels very light.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

VALM - I have definitely bought some of my Too Faced palettes from Debenhams and Boots when they used to do them too but never from them direct.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

A UU at last, slow this month:(
200g Doublebase emollient wash gel WBA but pricey 19.03.16 2/18
Hopefully, I will have 2 items to cross off my 6 by spring list very soon, but that is slow going too.
I have not dared to look up any of the eye palettes that you have been discussing, I think that eye shadow is my most problematic area in terms of finding things that work. My lids are a little crepey, but not too bad for my age, but cannot wear too much shimmer and a lot of the mattes are just too dense and dead looking, I am learning to blend on the brush before applying as I cannot buff on the eyelid very much, it pulls my skin into wrinkles:eek::eek: (Not a pretty sight). Guess I need to research if any brands cater for "the older woman:( Or should I be looking at creams/sticks I wonder, as I don't have an oil problem these days). The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. I too have a problem if I use a shimmery eyeshadow above the crease. Looks ver Barbara Cartland. I don't understand what a "transition" shade is either so if anyone wants to enlighten me please do.
I have a UU : LUSH Cosmetic Warrior mask. WDBA. Only have one mask in stash now which is the Indeed Labs sheet mask I got in this months birch box.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. Nivea irresistibly smooth body lotion, very moisturising
Lush Brazened honey face mask, my fav
Wilko Sweet vanilla & honey shower smoothieDebt free and busy treating myself:)
No more toiletries/make up until I've used what I've got stashed since Jan 2011, graduated October 2012. Restocked Dec 13..damn those sales0 -
2 Ins to report...
Schwartzkopf Essence ultime crystal shine finishing oil
Schwartzkopf Essence ultime illuminating oil
Not tried these before, think its a bit like hair serum. Technically not needed but I saw them in the pound shop when I popped in for a drink and couldn't resist as they are just over a fiver in boots! No buying unnecessary toiletries 2014. Epiphany on 4/4/14 - went into shop to buy 2 items, walked out with 17!0 -
VALM - a transition shade is a matte eyeshadow that matches your natural skin tone or one shade darker at most, you apply it to your crease and it blurs the line between the colour you apply to your lid and the natural skin tone of your upper lid area (above the crease). I use MAC Omega for my transition shade, it is barely visible but it means there are no obvious lines between colours.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

Ah thanks dolly. I have TA the mini bottle of OPI Get Cherried Away as when I used it yesterday I was getting very little product on the brush. Also didn't like the formula. It chips so easily (probably why I've gone through it so fast as I seemed to be constantly topping up). Won't repurchase the colour. I have OPI Casino Royale and Nails inc Piccadilly Circus which are very similar. My next mini to UU is OPI You don't know Jacques which I also own in full size.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. A few use ups to report from the last couple of weeks and so far no more ins although I am popping into town later!
2. No7 Blissful body wash 50ml. I got this in my No7 advent calendar. I love the scent but don't think it's worth full price for the full size one. Will look forward to getting it in gift sets in the future though!
3. Crazy Rumors Amaretto lip balm. A gorgeous scent and a good lip balm. WBA
4. No7 extreme length mascara. This was good but had started to dry up.
5. No7 Protect and Perfect day hand cream 10ml. Another advent calendar item. This was not as good as I hoped, it was too light and didn't seem to do much other than smell nice.
6. Clinique buttershine lipstick in berry blush. This was a nice shade but I was using it every day to finish it up and I got so bored of it! I'm enjoying rotating my lipsticks a bit more now.0 -
Hi ladies, I've been travelling a bit, so just catching up now - lots to read!
A few UUs from me:
- several sachets of serums/lotions
- Blistex lip cream
- Clinique superpowder doublepowder
- Co Lab dry shampoo. WBA - preferred it to Batiste, seemed a bit finer.
And a summary of my 6 by Spring challenges, as nothing more will change now. I think I've done ok, though 2 things are still on the go...
- [STRIKE]Maybelline dream matte mousse foundation[/STRIKE] - Was glad to be rid of this, as it was pretty old, and ok, but I've got a better foundation now
- [STRIKE]Clinique Superpowder x 2[/STRIKE] - yay both very old and part used ones gone! New one that has been at the back of the cupboard for a couple of years now pulled out and opened, this feels like a really big win!
- Clinique superfine liner for brows - Not going to get UU in time, but I'm liking using it, so I'm happy it's lasting so well
- [STRIKE]Ren lipgloss[/STRIKE] - gone, and didn't like it. Also UU'ed another old lip cream (Blistex above) as a bonus
- [STRIKE]Urban decay original primer[/STRIKE] - gone, but loved it and have moreAlso UU'ed another old Soap&Glory one as a bonus
- Barry M Chisel Cheeks contour kit - hit pan on one of the colours, but won't finish it any time soon. I'm ok with this though. I don't love it, but like it, happy to keep using.0
