Morning all,
Have a lovely holiday xspender
Thank you for all your messages about my poorly dog, he is on the mend although I think it'll be a while before he can go out on a walk again. We are back to sleeping upstairs which is much more comfortable
Today has been productive so far. I've done the main monthly food shop, bought the animal food for the month and done a load of washing which is on the line already. I've got tutoring later and but going to make the most of the sun whilst it's outTonight I'll sit down and sort out payments towards debts etc.
Hope everyone gets to enjoy the sun todayLBM = 07/09/13 Debt = £13339 (100% cleared)

Going to attempt to wash my windows with my new telescopic pole I bought as they are filthy and round here they want £15 to wash my windows- I only have 7!
I got one of those last year. Only a tenner I think. Does the windows on the first floor. A bit wobbly when fully extended but so much cheaper than a window washer.
Happy Easter everybody. :easter::EasterBun
Will go for swim at lunch and then have some ancient curry for my lunch that I found lurking in the freezer. Had an "a bit of everything" dinner last night with the kids. LO shepherds pie, LO pasta with chicken, LO sausages, bread, ham and LO chilli. All were portions too small for an individual lunch. Will go to FIL over the weekend and then hopefully come home in time for me to bake a wee cake for my little birthday girl (2!!! on Monday, where are my babies gone, time flies). Cut DS hair last night and it totally ages him. He doesn't like the hairdresser so asks for a mummy cut :T.
Lovely and sunny here, hope it lasts.

Forced myself out to NT garden this am. Got home soaking in sweat don't think it was walking around there that did it but remains of this flu.
Thrown all my clothes in washing machine quick shower and sit in the garden in the sunshine.
Arranged to go out for a drink tonight not feeling up to any alcohol or a noise pub, see if my friend wouldn't mind cancelling. Party popper that I am.LBM 13039 1.1.13 Now £0 Finally Debt FreeMortgage free Oct 2019:)EFund/savings £25000 10/11/220 -

Hi everyone, I just wanted to share with you that I hav paid everything off! Hurrah!
Brilliant news!!
SFD here today. :T
Beautiful weather here today so have done small egg hunt in the garden with the smallest 2 as Sunday is meant to be very rainy. They haven't had their big eggs though, and they've only been allowed to eat 1 small hollow egg (think chicken egg size) today after the hunt.
Trip to tip/ recycling centre to get rid of some random items, some wood (varnished, so I don't want to burn it in chiminea), cardboard and a very old and broken slide from the garden. ALso dropped some CDs and a bag of rags at CS
Two loads of washing dried on the line today :j - meaning my ironing pile has now grown again! Will start that tonight. Have also been clearing out DS2's room, although haven't finished it (did the tip/ recycling/ CS trip to make most of the weather)
4 items sold on fleabay today, although not all have been paid for yet. Will hopefully post them tomorrow (won't count that as spends as postage has been paid for by the buyers) Will update sig fully when all have been paid for/ postage costs known.
Hope everyone has had lovely weather

We made the most of a b+q paint offer today, to get 4 pots
. Should be enough for our room, dd's room, lounge + stairway + landing. Thank you for the house element of the challenge mothernerd. I know we have spent money, but we now have the materials to spruce up the homestead a little.
And I am making the most of not being on the naughty step by exercising. I am totally NOT ready to wear shorts in public :rotfl:. On day 3/50 of my plan, so very much at the beginning, but having set it to start with the holidays, I really do have no excuse not to do a workout every day.
Congratulations GSRcat on freedom! :T:T:TNST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
Hi everybody, I've been away for about a year, took some time offline to plod away at it all. Thought of you all often (lovely to see familiar names here), fell off the DFW ladder a couple of times, had some lucky breaks, made a few more lucky breaks of my own, cleared the debt and have stayed clear for about 6 months
Now about to extend the mortgage by a chunk to get some much needed home repairs done, very nervous about borrowing even in this different way. I was hoping to come back and join you during April, as I feel the need to be on the straight and narrow and watching the pennies closely again. Feel more at home here than the MFW board.. its a kind of preventative, anti-falling into debt action, as I know I could very easily relax and it all go wrong! Will read back through to catch up on news from this month, and look forward to the April challenge, if you'll have me

Today has been spendy but I have also paid all the money I can towards the debt. I feel like I am treading water though, why is it taking so long to pay it off?!?! Grrrr, I need to spend less.
