Hugs ccl, we're all here for you
dia wow that is super productive
I had my day out and it was spendy but I did return home with £4.50 from my budget so not horrendous and was treated by others most of the dayUnfortunately, shortly before coming home I trapped a nerve in my neck/shoulder and have been in agony since. I can't turn my head to the right at all and if I do anything that involves the upper back muscles it's also very painful. I've spent 4 hours sat with a hot water bottle pressed against my back but as soon as the heat subsides the pain returns. It's making me feel nauseous too. I'm hoping it miraculously heals overnight!

Hi fmess hoping you woke up miraculously healed?
mothernerd I love sweet potatoes too...
I have a reduced free range chicken in the slow cooker.
My menu plan for the week requires no extra shopping
Breakfasts: boiled egg or yoghurt and fruit (or both if I want)
Lunch: soup
Supper:
Sat: Chilli, noodles, broccoli
Sun: Chicken and veggies
Mon: Chicken salad
Tues: Sweet potato, mackerel and salad
Weds: Chilli, millet and quinoa and salad
Thurs: Red bean burgers, sweet potato chips and salad/tahini sauce
Friday: Out to dinner. Free!
A busy day today as a working day to cover a colleague but mindful of mothernerd's quote I need to conquer fear and face something I am avoiding so by the end of the day I will come up with a list of 3 builders I could use to repair my facias and paint the front of my house. I also need to book electrician for when he gets back from holiday. So, I have added that to my action list for tomorrow
I exercised yesterday as I did a yoga class and also walked a fair bit.
Tuesday is now my set NSD but I am going to have an extra NSD day today too as the challenge is 8 NSD s, so 2 a week.

fmess hope you are feeling better?
Had a nice family day yesterday. My son was in a show so we had to drop him off at 10 and then not return till the show at 3. Was nice to mooch around with just the little one. Had a free coffee to cash in at Costalots so did that plus used spends from the change pot to pay for a picnic lunch. Had the good fortune to find a £1 coin in the afternoon . It was useful too for talking about what we both want to focus on for the rest of this year and beyond.
Today is fairly lazy as well although we do have a few jobs to sort out at the flat.
I defrosted a box of something that looks like chilli from the freezer yesterday so going to investigate if that can make dinner tonight.
Right bye for now.

I have a few pieces that I don't want to keep anymore but they aren't particular valuable but also they aren't costume jewelleryLBM = 07/09/13 Debt = £13339 (100% cleared)

Quote for the day
Fear is not real. It is the product
of the thoughts you create. Danger is
very real, but fear is a choice.Back later. Just having a quick 5 mins with ys hummous and Chantenay carrots. Bargainaceous shopping but need to get on with a few things whilst it is light and sunny. My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage0 -
Am having a focus on getting veggies in my tum at the mo. I used to be really good at this, and would sometimes even get 10 a day. Am aiming for about 6 at hte moment.
Am 'cheating' a little, as am trying to do lots of raw veg (cauli, pepper, tomato, beetroot (not raw!), cucumber...) with a good dollop of shop coleslaw. I do often make my own mayo + slaw, but figured that making that first would be asking just a tad too much of myself for now!
The exercise side of things is going well, and I have made myself a 50 day challenge that spans when the Easter hols start to when the kiddies go on exam leave.
We have found £75 in J Sains vouchers!! They have so many pin holes in them they look like they have been used as dart practice. Valid, we think. Might usethem at h0mebase over the Easter w/end for paint, if they have an offer on. Failing that, we'll use them for our sporadic sains shop trips for items we can only get from there.
Tee hee. Miswrote trips as trils and went off down the Star Trek train of thought re tribbles... sorry all - mothernerd will know what Imean (hopefully...)

No walk of shame Calling! I've just totted up our food spends thus far in March (and dh has been doing more of it due to being out of work) and we are ALREADY overspent for the month...
So I am claiming the very naughty step too.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0
