Hi all.
CCL - Oh no, hope you get it fixed without too much expense.
Bob - that tenant sounds delightful - what a nightmare.
It is my birthday today so I will be buying a bottle of wine later to share with DH. It is grocery shopping day and I have done a click and collect with Tesco as I had a voucher with them. I got lots of lovely things today and am a happy bunny.
Happy birthday to you! !" Your vibe attracts your tribe":D

CCL how awful about your laptop. Just what you don't need.
I found out today I should have an extra £300 in April's budget for Debt slaying. So my goal for the rest of this month is to get another £100 paid off so I can hit £1500 round in April." Your vibe attracts your tribe":D

Evening all,
Happy birthday dolly
Sorry to hear about your laptop ccl
Another SFD today so I'm up to 8, it always seems easier to get them at the start of the month! Had a productive day, met with a representive of my union at school to voice the general changes we are seeing as a result of the new head, hoping we have a few things to move forward with now. Also went to see my counsellor and she talked me through a mindfulness session, which was fantastic and she gave me several strategies to use daily to help keep the stress and depression at a manageable level.
Nothing much else to report, still not swapped bedrooms but think I'll trial it at the weekend. If I do it permanently, I need to swap the beds over too.LBM = 07/09/13 Debt = £13339 (100% cleared)

Happy birthday Dolly!
Not good about the laptop CCL but please don't go back to work early if you are not readycan't you sit on your hands to stop further expenses?!
Yes stewby I am off to Bali and Singapore in 4 weeks time :j:j
Spent today on crisps 85p and also £2.54 on painkillers. Then got home and tidied medicine box and found loads of both types!o well they won't go off anytime soon! Good news is I need only two medicine bits for holiday!
Unsure what to do about my jab as I booked it in but my friend (who lives in New Zealand) has been told she does not need the vaccination unless she goes yo rural area for a month. Think I'm prob not going to get it as seems a waste of £200 if not needed. I've hit a mosi net and will wear strong deet even during day while we are there (only 3 days in risk area).
So I had a booking for the first six days in April and then I had a 4 day booking for the whole house at the end of my holiday. Seems a shame for it to sit empty for two weeks but not sure about the hassle of finding a cleaner to clean and prepare between stays. With the savings from my normal budget whilst being away (food, spends petrol etc) I will just about break even but I could earn over another £200
Need to do my list of house jobs. Most are quite small and free-cheap, silly things like fixing drawer handles and touching up paint. But I have discovered tip near my parents will take paint so want to sort out in loft and bring old colours down. Not really enough to offer for use for free and some have gone lumpy. Also want to put my bins back in the back garden now it's lighter in the evening (bisected gardens so no lights!) and need to tidy it up. As I'm away for so long and April is often quite dry I will refrain from any new plants and hanging basket until I'm back. My guests who are renting the whole house are coming end of April so as it will prob be warm by then I need to tidy the back garden before my holiday and put the table and chairs out.
Hope everyone has had a good day. I've had a headache since I woke up that won't go so think I'll have some more cocodamol and go to bed:(

Thank you FB. No secret. Just obsession! I think every day how can I find more money for payments. I follow a number of blogs about financial freedom like The Frugalwoods, American but I still find it translates for me. I can't wait till the day I can honestly say I can save what comes into our home and not pass it on to someone else.
I do also get very fed up on a regular basis that I can't do more. The amount I owe is not huge and when I see what some people pay off each month it's huge. But generally they owe a lot more so I don't know if it's true that thing where they say if you earn more you just spend more. :rotfl:" Your vibe attracts your tribe":D

I totally agree with you Bob I get really down if I don't see my debt going down. Don't get paid heaps so make every penny count.
Today paid 80.00 off my debts woo hoo, nice to see it moving in the right direction.:D:D:D
Mothernerd, hangs head in shame, ordered dress, prepared to sit on newly painted naughty step in my frock. Hey it might not fit - will decide when I try it on:rotfl:

Thanks for the birthday wishes guys, I had a lovely day. It is my day off work today but I will be working the evening doing my original job that I do from home.
Other than that I have already stripped all the beds and re-made them all, washed two loads of sheets etc, emptied the dishwasher, cycled 15 miles, showered, sorted hair and done makeup. I'm having a coffee now then I will walk the dog before lunch.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler
