Happy Birthday to Kyle's DS2. Hope you all have a lovely day together.
I have read everyone else's posts but can remember nothing - I blame the lousy night's sleep I had last night. Spent the whole night dreaming about stupid things.
Well, last night DS and DD helped me to get rid of the rubbishy snacks in the house - mainly by eating them.
We have absolutely NO rubbishy snacks now and I will NOT be buying any for the forseeable future. See, Frogga, I'm making the effort. Weighed myself and could have cried but at least I know the size of the mountain I am trying to reduce. Still, made a good start today, I have already done 200 sit-ups and some leg lifts. Will use the exercise bike later and if the rain stops, DS, DD and I will have a walk around the docks.
I think I'm stressing about DD starting high school on Tuesday. No idea why as she isn't the least bit worried about it. Think I will be happier when the first day is over.
Brekkie today is wholemeal toast with a boiled egg.
Lunch will be a small baked potato with some salad.
Dinner will be roast chicken (no gravy for me), boiled pots and lots of veg.
Have a super Sunday everyone. xx"Bad planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part."

Nah...
The thing is that people were abusing signatures and putting referral links into them.
In the end the Forum Team changed the settings to remove all links from sigs. (except us goody goody Board Guides
)
However,
You can ask for permission to have links to threads in MSE and so on from the Forum Team and they will then add you to the list of people allowed to have links.
I'm pretty sure the thread concerned is a sticky on the Site Suggestions board. Hang on while I go look...

Starting Frogga's challenge properly today so I had a wee bit to much wine last night (just to get it out of the house). Need to get up in aminute and take over from DH who currently entertaining the monster who was up for 3 hrs in the night.
Plans for the day are the usual preparations for the week ahead so thats ironing, making pack-ups for tomorrow. I'm also hoping to do abit of garage sorting out as its a complete mess. DH was supposed to be going to my dads to help him with some more garden renovations but its pouring down so thats gone out of the window I suppose he will spend the day in front of tv now!

Hi all - another cup of coffee so I just HAD to sit down here, didn't I? I want to say a great big thank you to CATZNINE for her Aunty Beryl's chutney recipe - I've just made it and it's the very best one I've ever made. I added half a dozen plums to it. It's mind-blowing to stir - kept making my eyes water, but absolutely delicious and the house smells gorgeous. I'm so ridiculously excited about it, it's just as well DH isn't here - he'd think I'd gone mad. Anyway, I shall take some to my mum when I go and see her because the apples came from her garden. I've also just picked some more blackberries - they're massive and juicy; I think it's been the best year for them that I can remember. It's lovely getting food for free, isn't it? Our squirrel was telling me off because I was standing next to 'his' hazlenut tree at the time but I see he's back out there now, checking that I haven't interfered with his nuts!
I've been up to the shop for the paper. Sorry for anyone having rain but it's beautiful and sunny here at the moment. After yesterday's gloom, it's really welcome, and it's warmed up as well.
I keep forgetting I'm going away on Thursday - I don't know why. Probably because DH is away and I'm trying to make the most of the 'spare' time I've got. I feel 'hurried woman syndrome' coming on. As soon as we get back, I want to get really stick in to Christmas. I've got loads already as well as all my wrapping paper, cards and card-making things and all the other bits and bobs, but I would seriously like to have it all sewn up by the end of November. Sorry to those of you who don't want to be reminded that Christmas is only 16 weeks away!
Well, will call in later - when I have my next cuppa!

I've got the beef on for stew tonight, making plum sauce as we speak, DH has cut back the overgrowth in the garden, and I have convinced him the the 3 pieces of fencing can go on freecycle - we arent going to use it.
Got to go and strain the sauce now!0
