I'd use a liquid, rather than a powder, MRsM. Just checked it out and its 2 points on WW. And orange essential oil/flavouring would be nice, too. I used ot make this when I was a kid and put in all sorts of fruit - whatever we had to stretch it out when we had people over and I had already started to make it.

went to costco this afternoon as mil decided not to turn up! not going to go into it though:rolleyes:

got loads of food etc so that should keep us going til our holidays:D

had a barmy wth dh in the car concerning lo, lo was being silly with his juice and wouldnt hand it over so dh reached back and grabbed it off him while it was still in his mouth, juice went all over him, lo upset, me fuming at dh and he didnt even say sorry to lo!!!!

Why are men such idiots?!!!

and i was so peeved off that when dh said did i want chips, that i agreed! hate him:mad:

Went down to the seafront to watch Bognor Birdman, it was great, but now im shattered !!!!!

why is it as soon as you say that your going on a diet that you end up eating for England !!!!!! i have stuffed my face full of junk all day !!!! i promise to be good and make a big effort in the morning frogga !!!!!

my neighbour gave my a big bag full of damsons this morniong they needed to be used straight away so i have stewed and frozen them into portions with apples (she gave me those too) to make crumbles.. never had damson crumble before !!!!!

I have been so good today.....for supper I had a roasted pork chop with a small stuffing ball, 1 spud, sweetcorn, green beans, gravy and a creme caramel made with skimmed milk...........and I mint humbug, my treat for the day.......................tomorrow is another day....will I have time to eat?????????????? breakfast...grapefruit, toast,fruit juice and coffee. Lunch not too sure but poss crisp bread and rillette with tomatos, supper.. bacon omlettee with salad..........drinking water and peeing lots...we will see. I have not charged up the battery in the scales, so cannot weigh myself......I know I was 13.5 stone when I weighed myself recently, so I need to get down to 9.5st. my God thats 4 stone....................

(((Hugs))) Mrs Mix I have a family just like that and have long given up hoping that they will remember birthdays! so long as we (the 4 of us) remember each other and we do make a fuss of each other that is all that matters, it has made us a much closer family unit as a result. Hope ds feels better about it soon Please wish him many happy returns from me.:bdaycake:

Happy birthday to Master Mix.

Hester, sounds as if your menus will be rather fun for the next month..still, apology and rent will help...very often thoughtlessness is at the bottom of these things.

Have been reasonably good today, had pear and no sugar muesli for breakfast...then called to brother and had 3 rashers, 2 sausages, 3 cherry tomatoes and a slice of fried bread! Roast beef, roast veg, steamed cabbage, onions, and steamed potato for dinner ...may have some more fruit before I go to bed but am happy enough with to-day.

Bought birthday present for my SIL, meeting her for lunch tomorrow and also got some more small Christmas pressies, must do inventory or I will end up with lots of small and nothing big...will not be knitting all those sox Stefejb...so long since I turned a heel that I'm not sure I can now!

Smoky, hope that your DS is not too stressed and that you can stay calm and trust that all will be well...hugs

Would you lot stop posting pics of cats...my poor Luca is very upset...in his day he reckons that he could knock any of them for six, but is afraid that I might be thinking of replacing him with a younger model!!

Hi everyone,

I have just finished cleaning through after the 3 have gone to bed and am pretty tired. The buses the last couple of days have been a nightmare and to top it all it has been raining today. DD is still very clingy and upset about her dad being in hospital (allthough she did not appear to be bothered the last two times) and is needing lots of extra hugs at the moment.

OH is going stir crazy at the hopital. He is off the stent? in his hand for the frusemide and back on the tablet form twice a day and feels that as no-one has done anything remotely medical for him this weekend he should have been allowed to come home. A very patient man my OH as you can tell.:rotfl: :rotfl:

I still have a pile of ironing to do and the lunch bags for tomorrow and a container of mixed chopped fruit for OH (minus the grapes :eek: :eek: :eek: ) I didn't think and added some today and his blood sugar hit 25 so the nurses aren't best pleased. Oops!!!

Belated happy birthdays to those I have missed today and big hugs to anyone in need of one.
