Aussielass - he was asleep! stayed that way for about 30 minutes. Not a photoshopped pic, that's how he was lying.
He's never laid like that again that we know of, I have no idea how he could stay like that.0 -
Odds-n-sods I can't stop looking at it.
You should blow it up and put in on the wall. It's a classic.
Kyle Happy Birthday to your wee boy. :bdaycake: Enjoy making his cake. Lorenzo must obviously take after Granny Twink in the temper tantrum department.
PP Your holiday sounded lovely. Welcome back.Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia.

Morning :hello:
Sorry for my few days' absence - work every day (where I can't get onto MSE any more) and out at concerts every night
I meant to post yesterday morning but my BT line went dead on Friday night for some reason, and didn't get fixed until after I went out yesterday.
Penny-Pincher!! - glad you had a good night's sleep
squeaky - yikes, at you having to update all those links! Isn't there a more foolproof way to do it in the future so you don't have to do it again?
Re weight loss - I actually don't know how much I weigh (don't possess scales!) but I know I am the heaviest I have ever been - I think about 13 stone. I don't look that big, cos I'm curvy, and I don't have that much to lose as I know from past experience that if I go much under 10 stone I start looking scrawny. I will be on a healthy eating and exercise regime as of the week after next (there is just NO point trying till then - we're now into the final week of the Proms and I have the week off work, which means spending half the day grazing on wine and nibbles in the queues... oh yes and a beer or two after the concert each night
) I'd like to get back down to a size 12, (I'm currently a 16) and I want to do this by the time I'm 30 (just over 10 months away) which should be no trouble if I actually put some effort in
Today I'm going to church (need to be there at 10 for choir practice) and then on to the Proms where we have a Mahler symphony this evening.
Right, must be off as I'm hardly ever home at the moment and I do try and fit a little bit of housework in before I leave in the mornings or the place goes to rack and ruin
((((Hugs)))) if you need them
Love Rzl xx

anyone else up for it? come on , you know you want to!:T There are no rules. Tell as much or as little as you want. We'll just all give each other support that's all ~ we just mustn't hijack the whole thread or the thinnies will get cheesed off!
Add me to your list - I used to be 9st ish (too thin) and am now about 11st 2-3lb! I'm aiming for 9.5st. I was about 10.5st for ages then put on a lot of the weight at my previous (rotten) job which needed lots of overtime - (un)fortunately there was a canteen that served goodies to perk me up after another crap meeting/afternoon.
Good luck with the binging, I haven't planned a binge or binged for about three weeks now. I feel quite proud and I think I'm slowly getting back in control and dealing with emotions without eating a packet of chocolate hobnobs, a box of shreddies and chocolate! Take it one day at a time. It takes me huge effort sometimes to PUT DOWN THE CHOCOLATE and MOVE AWAY FROM THE TILL, and think about what the consequences of what chocolate will do to me. But it's one day at a time, I try not to worry about tomorrow, as I can deal with it when it comes.
I've lost 5lb since early August, so I'm looking forward to getting below 11lb sometime this month!
Oh and just to add something else - thanks for the welcome! :jI've been on the OS board a while but not poked into the daily threads. Right, I've made my pancakes and eaten them (mmmm), saved the extra batter for Sausage Toad. Once Flatmate has left for church, I need to string some runnerbeans my mum gave me and freeze them, and check my (very short) shopping list.

Oh, clever, AUSSIELASS! OK - were you warm last night, then?!
N9EAV - CID Detective sounds brave to me; we're all grateful for the job you do; it must be very demanding.
PENPIN - Welcome back; glad you salvaged some holiday amongst the trips to hospitals. Hope you are feeling a lot better now.
Well, have just finished my coffee so I should shake a tail feather and get moving! See you all later.

Your cat is gorgeous. If you were to post this on flickr you would get 100 invitations to join all the cat photo pools. Kissable kitties, fluffy kitties, fluffy kitties doing yoga etc.
Morning all

was raining earlier but looks a bit more promising now. just off to Asda to get a few bits and pieces. bought some nice meat from local butcher yesterday to make steak pie with. was dearer than Asda and Tesco but it does taste so much better. going to check cupboards before I go, and try and buy to use up what sauces etc are lurking in there.
been doing some budget calculations this morning. hope to cut food budget as I wont be doing many extra shifts this year. will need to be more careful as I want to keep repaying extra to the mortgage, so that when we move (2010 maybe) this house will be more or less paid for. I think it is achievable....if we cut back a bit.x x x0 -

Yep
I've sorted out my very own domain.
I can redirect this to my current ISP.
So once I've got all the individual links pointed to my domain (almost all done) the only thing I'll need to do in future is to change the domain redirect ONCE from my old ISP to my new one.
The only thing I can't (well, won't, do, tbh is to track through my 8000+ posts and correct any of those too.
But the Indexes and help files are all done (I think) and I've just got to check that all the spreadsheet and shopping budget links are OK in our spreadsheet thread.
But first... I've gotta take Sally to the vet.
Nothing serious - just her annual check up
