Morning all :) sending wishes to those looking after friends and loved ones in difficult times.

We had a lovely evening with friends yesterday, it very rarely happens - unfortunately. We spent much less than we would if we'd gone out, smalls played and we chatted the evening away. Added benefit of this is that we have tidy house already today :D my day will tend to look like this:

    Check banking, surveys, FPL
Get ready for school week, bags, packed lunch etc....
Meals from stores. - including leftovers from last night ;)
Check shopping list for week, likes DH small list at ald1 tomorrow
One thing planned from Feb list
Log on to some one line training (free) for my business tonight

    Have a good day everyone

Morning Jonno & all frugalistas who follow,
    Today I will:
*Secure mr f's caveman-like strength to help me repot the Christmas tree & a struggling shrub to keep them bith going for a bit longer.
*Do a task from my Annoying Things list.
    *Make tomorrow's packed lunch.
*Read energy meters & update spreadsheets.
*Set washer on timer for overnight laundry on cheap tariff.
*''Free' roast dinner, using the pork slices in gravy I froze the other week, also batch-cooked braised red cabbage & apple sauce from freezer & use-it-up carrots.
*Free leisure as I will be starting new library book & knitting more cats.
    Love to all,
    F x

  • Morning all :)
Had a bit of a rough night last night, but I'm putting it down to stress at the thought of going back to work. I'll need to make sure that I'm not actually getting ill though before I decide about visiting my friend at all. If I'm not 100% certain then I won't go - she's already struggling to fight off what she has.
Back to school tomorrow :( but only for 4 and a bit weeks :T Here's my list of things for today.
    :heartsmil Check banking and PAD
    :heartsmil Tutoring
:heartsmil Get ds to football training this morning
:heartsmil Contact my friend and her family to see how she is and if I can do anything.
:heartsmil Get the kids to get school ready for the week ahead
:heartsmil Crochet my friend a cuddly white blood cell as a get well present :p
:heartsmil Nap if I need to later
:heartsmil Plan for the week ahead in terms of budget and food - still over a week until payday
:heartsmil No additional housework other than the washing, washing up, hoovering unless I can nag the kids into it
Have a good day all - thinking of you Ziggy

CCL - Love the idea of a knitted white blood cell! It's difficult when people have such severely compromised immune systems. My Mum has myaesthenia gravis, for which she has had to take immune system depressant drugs for the past 15 years. It means she is more vulnerable to any lergies doing the rounds, which hit her harder than the rest of us. If we have colds, bad throats or suspected stomach bugs, we stay well away.
I'm sure a cuddley knitted blood cell will make your friend smile......much more imaginative than knitting cats!

    Morning all :)
Drizzly this morning, which I suppose is an improvement on the pouring rain that we had yesterday :(

Late up this morning (very unusual for me :o) and OH made a cooked breakfast :) Must get on in a minute :o

    List for today:
Put freecycle item outside the front door so I don't need to worry about waiting in (again)
    Dog walks x 2
    Shopping - Mr W this week as I have a voucher :)
    All HM meals
Make some soup - found a new recipe that interested me :)
Make a crumble to use some HG rhubarb from the freezer :)
    Read meters and submit readings
Sort out RM surveys items for the coming week - my time with them is coming to an end, but they are making the most of the last few weeks by sending me loads of parcels to post :(
Price up some items to take to my sales unit tomorrow
    Any surveys, check FPL
I would love to get out in the garden, but the weather doesn't look as though this will happen :( Especially as I need OH to help me move some big, heavy pots and he is apparently allergic to a bit of rain :rotfl:

Special thoughts to Ziggy and her family, and happy Sunday to everyone else :)

PS, I am most impressed by both knitted cats and white blood cells :)

I've been doing RM Surveys for over a year. Every time they say it's coming to an end they send me a re-invite shortly after. Perhaps you'll get lucky too? ;)
