Hi everyone,
So sorry to hear about your brother Ziggy. Thinking about you and your family. xxxx
Hoping things are going to be pretty chilled here today:
- WM & TD both on so I can hopefully get through the laundry mountain
- dyeing my own hair - have been meaning to do this for AGES so now it's getting desperate
- doing my own nails
- Cleaning with minimal products... (bathroom and back bedroom)
- Been doing a fascinating 'Nutrition and Wellbeing' course on FutureLearn - would recommend to anyone - fascinating stuff and good to have the videos on in the background while cooking/cleaning etc. Much better than my usual trashy TV :rotfl:
- Biz prep - emails, blog, class planning
- Take pooch a walk - will keep him on a lead so he doesn't get too mucky
- Will be less DFW if he comes home covered in mud and I have to clean everywhere, right?!
- Teaching tonight - schedule tells me 5 new peeps are due to come :T
- HM soup for lunch - tired-looking broccoli, potato and stilton...Would prefer to use sweet potatoes but can't figure out whether than would work with stilton...
- @ldi shop depending on whether OH comes back with the car before the shop shuts
I've signed up for RM surveys twice now and they say 'Congratulations you qualify' and then they don't send me any further info... Bit annoying!
Catch up later everyone.

Hi February Folk,
Bit lacking in motivation today but really need to tackle my Foxgloves-esque Annoying List which I'm just going to write on here as I do it:
Debt Free-Nillionaire Continuity Plan Month Nine:
* Laptop eBay buyer has paid so have shopped around for cheapest parcel delivery for it, wrap up using recycled packaging and then pay the profit back into our Australia Fund. I recommend signing up for a free Parcel2Go account if you send a lot of parcels. They are forever sending discount codes, and some of them make their service the cheapest around.
* Annoying Things List: Hook holding calendar has fallen off the door. Glued back on using leftover glue from yesterday's engineering project.
* Cleared all emails.
* Made a list of all the things we need the garage to fix on the car tomorrow for free.
* Pumped up car tyres for maximum fuel efficiency.
* Put an item on Freecycle. Will have a look and see if anyone has anything we want.
* List cigarette lighter powered windscreen heater on eBay as it's no longer required.
* Annoying Things List: Updated a spelling mistake on OH's website, been meaning to do this for three weeks.
* Updated Finances Spreadsheet.
That's about it. How about you guys?

I am hoping to get lots done re-selling on FB today. Hopefully two items being collected and I have a pile to take photos of to list throughout the week. We run classes on a Sunday night and a good turn out is predicted tonight which will bring in a few quid. Food today will be left overs as we continue using up what is in the house before buying anymore!!! Also agreed to do some photography at an event in August. Will be voluntary as is for charity but may hopefully lead to paid work too as a good chance to network. Should get a free bet match betting today too so shall match bet that to make some profit later in the week. Also plan to overpay my CC by an amount I earned last month - have hung onto it for emergencies but with a week left to go in the month I think I'll be ok to pay it off

They will be in touch when there is a vacancy in your area, LaE. I had to wait several months, but eventually an invitation came through. After a while they stand you down (soon to happen to me) but may invite you back in the future. I guess this is because if the same people did it all the time, the local post office staff would catch on - they would in a small place like this, as you see the same counter staff and they have to ask what is in your frequent parcels that all look the same and don't really weigh anything
It is pretty boring, but the stamps they reward you with are useful, and there is the odd freebie like the reel of sellotape Ally mentioned, and a couple of pounds worth of shopping vouchers (reward for queueing up in the post office for ages to post parcels). I am sure they will be in touch at some point

Hi everyone
Early-ish check in from me today as I am a bit ill. I know it's nothing infectious, because for the second Sunday before work in a row I have a migraine. This one was a migraine where I had to pull the car in and get out and puke on my way home from tutoring. As my migraine triggers are stress, dehydration and tiredness then it's fairly safe to say I'm suffering with 2 of the 3. Couple of immigrant later I'm alive but not feeling great. Plus I have to get lunches and uniforms ready for tomorrow and kids bathed and early night. Who knows how much longer I'll be awake or whether I'll get online later.crazy_cat_lady wrote: »

Love your cat photobombing the white blood cell CCL :rotfl: Only on this thread........0

That's an awesome white blood cell and a very cute cat!
Today not so great again on the money saving side:
- did a 10 mile running event - furthest I've ever run so a great fitness achievement
- but then went to pub for lunch. Did choose a cheaper variety of pub with play area for kids so guess that would offset the cost slightly.
- will check out surveys this evening
- will also prep food for tomorrowHels
