Hope it all goes smoothly!
We've had most of our snag issues sorted this week so should be pretty much sorted just in time for Christmas :T0 -
We finally exchanged today. Such a weight lifted0

So, dare I ask how everyone got on over Christmas?
We luckily completed on 7th December in the end as our removal was booked for the 8th. Had a lovely Christmas in our new home and everyone that's been round to see it has been very impressed! A few snagging issues to be done, work starting tomorrow - but nothing major. Still can't believe we're in after all the panicking and worry but we are so happy! First mortgage payment came out today!
How did everyone else get on?0 -
So pleased it went well for you in the end Murray
We moved in on 16th Dec and also had a lovely Christmas and New yearHousewarming done and out of the way and lots of flat pack building and putting up of blinds
We have a few snagging issues, one being that the front door handle moves when you close the door so that is top of the list. Just waiting for a call from site to start the snagging issues
Our first mortgage payment came out today too, although we had already made a couple of overpayments (I like to see it go down too much to wait)

Awww Yay! So pleased for you Kirstypoos! I wish I hadn't worried so much about everything but I suppose hindsight helps!
Christmas just seemed to come and go as there wasn't much of a build up with all of our focus on the house but we are just so happy now! We didn't hand back our keys on the rental until 16th December so had an overlap to do repainting and deep cleaning which was worth it as we got our deposit back in full
We have a couple of windows which are catching and the front door is very stiff. Few screw heads popped through plasterboard as well but nothing major thank goodness!
So glad you're in too! Well done!0 -
Happy new year to everyone!
Congratulations to everyone that completed over December
I am still patiently waiting for our completion date...Everything looks on track so hopefully it will be end of February as initially suggested by the developer..:jFinally going to be a homeowner:T0 -
Happy New Year to you too ap1985!
Hope you get the completion date you want, it will fly by and you'll be in before you know it!
Just keep popping in to the sales office as much as possible so if there are any changes, you hear about them!
