Jheeze louise!!
Solcitor just called to say the NHBC certificate has been faxed through and completion is set for 30th. I've asked them to go back to the builders solicitor and request the date for the 25th (which the building site manager is happy with).
Will update once I get that solid date confirmation!0 -

We are in a new build and have been in for over a month. So many issues with BT/Openreach and Broadband. Already had an engineer to fix it, now another one is coming out as when they seem to connect it, they discover another fault. So desperately need the internet. Anyone have any suggestions?0

Moving date is confirmed for the 30th
was going to be too tight to complete on the 25th.
Can now get on with organising the 4 billion things that need to be done!0 -
Shocked....Just had a call from our site office to let us know building sign off is set for next week....bit of a shock as we've all been working to a 16th Dec completion at the earliest!
They asked if we would be happy to complete this month but given that our buyer still has queries outstanding and a survey being done next week I don't think that will be happening!!:j PAID VERY, Barclaycard x3, Vanquis, Natwest, O/D, Tesco & MBNA x2 PAID :j LBM 24/07/15 - Original Debt: £0/31010.23 (100% paid)

So your build is ahead of completion? I always wondered if that ever happened with new developments....:jFinally going to be a homeowner:T0 -
Not exactly ap1985, as the property was due to be completed between Nov-Jan, then was pushed back until Dec-Feb and is now being brought back to it's original date, so not really ahead as such, just back to what it should have been.
Very frustrating though, we can't move until Dec earliest so it will be sitting empty waiting for ushaha

When we first reserved we were told December/January.
As above we're completing 30th Nov so it does happen. We had a dry September and October which allowed them to crack on with ours and more importantly the surrounding houses (from a H&S point of view) as they now are only doing internal work on those surrounding so no heavy machinery in our little cul-de-sac0
