Talk about all hell breaking loose! The cat jumped down and ran to the front door and started yelling to be let out, but of course the dog was trying to break down the front door by now and barking the place down! I grabbed the cat and quickly put him out the back door and then let the dog in who of course ran straight to the back door still barking like mad and got tangled up in the vertical blinds! Once I could see the cat was out of the garden I let the dog out to 'chase' it and then brought him in to calm him down! I was wide awake when my husband came in a few moments later! :rotfl:

Thanks a lot for that Buddy!! I could 'see' it all so well and it had me giggling away like mad - though I'd have hated it here. All that blasted fur flying would have made me livid!!!

Maybe shutting the windows after tea time would solve it in future.

Cats are a pest and the owners don't mind as it is you that suffers their poo. Now i like animals and not one for harming them but being a caring sharing person I dont want the owners to miss the full joy of their pets toilet routines.

So a good way to share the full pet owning experience with their owners is to put cat food out with laxative in! not to much now!

Now their owners get to share the joy of little tiddles shatting around the place.

    Persistance works

The windows were closed so it must have come in through the front door at some point! Mind you it has climbed in though my neighbour's bedroom window twice - once during the night when she thought something was wrong with her legs as it was asleep on them! One very bold cat! :rotfl:

I'd never do anything to harm cats as I do love them (even though I am allergic to them), but have tried lots of things to keep them out of mu garden because they tease the dog - I've never found anything that works though.

When we repaint the fence and shed we have decided to use non drying anti-vandal paint as I have been told that cats don't like the feel of the stick texture on their paws.
    Numpties...I'm surrounded by them...save me...
  • Try ringing a local Zoo (if you have one) and asking for a carrier bag of big cat dung and mix it in with some compost. They'll usually give it out free, its not nice in the car mind. When we lived near Longleat this is what my parents used to do and it worked for them.

My dad also found that a SuperSoaker water pistol worked a treat too for the persistent ones!

The infused pellets are useless as the scent isnt strong enough.

We've got a cocker pup so thats worked in chasing all the cats in our garden away! There's about 20 in our road alone!
  • Hi,

I have just planted some new plants in my garden the other day, and this morning i caught my cat pulling soil over a big poo that she had done covering my new plants in soil in the process.

How can i keep my cats away from my plants while they establish themselves?

I have tried orange peel, but they aint bothered!!!

Chicken wire, or razor wire, depends how much you value your cat.
