  • Good evening, I am just going to update my list and then head to bed, as I am shattered tonight.

Things have gotten a bit better today, as I have invested in a car so no more buses, hopefully that's the problem solved at least for a few months. I think I got a good deal on the car, as the garage has given me free mots for the life of the car, time will tell. DH has also made progress with sorting my old car so hopefully he can now get it sorted, then I can sell one of them.

Another positive thing to happen today is that I may have some part time work although it is only seasonal it is a start.

    Eighth Anniversary
Busy day today, made beds, did dishes, went to town for an appointment with ds2, only after I realised that I hadn't brought my donate to charity bags x2 with me, due to stress, went round shops with Ds2 & got him a takeaway, went home, did my dinner, did washing, did dishes, cleared garden, s&s x 2, hoovered through, avoided paperwork, took charity bags to shop, couldn't do with them getting in my way for any longer, walked dog, went to gym, went to supermarket, did tea , did dishes & relax.
  • Evening! Had a couple of nice afternoons with Dad - yesterday shopping and today watching The Revenant. Flying has been minimal - have pottered and done a few bits.

Frizzle - so pleased to hear you are both heading home x

Sending thoughts and prayers to CY x

I am now in touch with all my cousins on my Dad's side of the family :D Most I have never met ever despite them living in the same county ..............

I'm thinking of going to the WDYTYA exhibition in Brum again this year - anyone else interested or want to meet up just for a meal or something whilst I'm there? It'll be the last couple of days of the first week of April.

List ready for tomorrow - popping to Mum's in the morning as she thinks I'll be able to sort out her computer! I'm not hopeful and am not looking forward to her reaction if I can't work out what's wrong :o

Morning all. I haven't got my Ionafan pad this morning so:

Frizzle - glad the baby will be home today
MMM - good that you've got the car and job things looking up
Bossy - just do your hours, what can they do? I too remember all my wages going to childcare in the school holidays.
Frodders - sorry, can't make the meet up this year as I'm working in London some of that week.

And hugs/spoons etc to anyone who needs them.

First for me this morning is getting dressed as workmen will be here again early. Will mean waking DH up this morning although I'll try to be quiet.

And then maybe clean in the gym, do some list...it's pouring with rain so I don't think they'll be a dog walk before the paid stuff.

    Have a great day everyone.

Coppers well done, that was a very productive day for you!

Mrs-MP hope you get your appointment this morning.

Meant to be going to the Arboretum with the dogs this morning to meet my friend and her kids but judging by the rain hammering down I think we may cancel - typical as the last 2 days have been beautiful. No paid stuff today but want to start making a list of things I can sell and see if I can take some photos. I'm not very good at photos but want to try to take decent ones as I think they can make all the difference if you're selling something.

S is doing a Bhangra workshop at school at 2.30 which the parents have been invited to - it was meant to be at Christmas time but the instructor was ill so that's another thing for me to go to. Also S is doing running club 3.30 - 4.30 so will be back up to the school yet again to pick him up.

Have a good day everyone x

    Morning

Bossy, tell them to **** off, you are on days off and it is halftem week in most places, spend the time with your children, they are about to make you redundant, are they paying you any extra for working on your days off? tell them to do one!! (kaz gets off her soap box and puts it away :) )

    Daily stuff is done
Cat now in its 3rd week here, and well at home on a blanket on the sofa, tried yesterday to get him to go outside with me, but he ran away behind the sofa when I opened the patio door, so I'll give him another week then try again.

I've come to the conclusion that I need paid help in the house. I'm working full time hours with the travelling and nobody has lifted a finger to help. I have discussed it with DH and we have informed the 3 working adult children that their rent is increasing to pay for it. Talk about lead balloons! She starts next week hence the declutter mission.

I love this! Good on you, Mumto5.

*Appointment vibes* heading your way, and here's hoping that your concerns are allayed, Mrs MP. Excellent shelf clearning, btw. 1cm is progress. ;)

Strength and energy vibes heading your way, CY.

HustonKW, I don't know about how to clean blinds, but there were jobs that I used to put off for months because they were so huge, and sticking with Flying a little and often has meant that after a while, the number of those jobs decrease after a time.

Coppers, that's a brilliant list of achievement for one day! Go you!

I hope Mini-Frizzle is allowed home today.

Nothing, absolutely nothing done yet, but yesterday was such a mega-achievement day on the Annual Frog Front that I'm not going to beat myself up if all I manage today is dailies in addition to a bit of tadpole munching.
    Better is good enough.
