I do that already!! I dread to think what I'll be like at 86!!!

My sister contacted SS and had my nanna a walk in shower/wet room installed .. she had not been able to have a bath for 4 YEARS! She had no shower previously but simply couldn't manage the bath.

I can't get in with a step either, it is the side stepping I can't do as it is incredibly painful.. I have a grab rail but it doesn't help the legs does it!?

I'd ring them too and see what help she can get.. with my nanna they watched her in the bathroom/on stairs/make a cuppa and bits and pieces so see if that was all she needed.

7:15 .. I've been awake since 5!! I got up at 7 after playing through all my candy crush lives lol.. I've loaded the DW, fed the 2 pinks who are awake and make a cuppa... thinking of warming up some lasagne, I am starved!

  • Hi all

Dizzy hugs, I remember those half term days well!

So I have been completely awol, no flying done here at all which is very unlike me. I have basically been at work or asleep so far this week, well it feels that way anyway, but things are slowing down and the boss is back on Monday.

DH had the job he was going to do cancelled so he has been decorating our little downstairs office - the contents of which are currently spread around the kitchen. I am determined that only things that I want in there will go back which means some ruthless decluttering. This is another reason why not much flying has been done.

Right, better get myself ready for the paid stuff. Going to try and get finished on time today so I can have the afternoon at home but we shall see. Oh and for some reason I have been awake since 5.30am!

    Morning!
    It's the weekend :D

DD has been wandering in the night again. She has been warned no pretty dresses if she won't stay in bed. She sneaked in at lord knows what time but at 5:45 was saying "mummy, mummy can I not wear a dress today?". Madam was promptly sent back to bed.

Right, shower for me and bath for kids - faces still look a bit orange

I too, have been awake since the early hours. DH forgot to switch off his early alarm

Got to take Girl Pup back to the vets this morning to check her foot is healing OK. Wish me luck with both boys in tow too...

After that, I've got to dig out the caravan, reposition all collected carp and clean.

I am mobile you're coming with me...

I have done WM x2 TD X1 and DW x 1 so today's pots will be hand washed
No further kitty gifts and am cross as I meant to look in savers for some neutradol or similar. Mind you I forgot one lot of keys and locked myself out.

Had to go to mums for hers as NDN didn't answer door ( think only one was in and bathroom light was on)

Narco sounds like you have so much on - maybe take a step back, breathe and look at what needs to be done in what order? Sounds daft but could you take a walk outside just to clear your head and maybe do a spot of mindfulness? I know it takes time but, for me, it can be a lifesaver. Good you're busy but not good you're anxious and stressed. Sending big hug from me and my lovely Whippet xx

A mobile Valli - how scary is that!! Not good to lock yourself out thought - that's one of my fears what with J being so far away in Basingstoke. You've reminded me to give a spare key to a neighbour, thank you.

Dizzy hope Girl Pup OK at vets and the kids behave themselves! Maybe give them a little reward after for good behaviour? I'm a big believer in bribery if needed ;)

Seems like there was a lot of us awake early this morning - I woke at 5.30 thanks to wretched cough which won't shift. Couldn't get back to sleep so had my online shopping list all sorted and booked a delivery for 7.30 tomorrow morning. Not bad considering all done and dusted by 6am! Lovely sunny day here and I was meant to be walking Whiz with 2 of my SILs and MIL but had phone call from school saying S's teacher and Senco can see me at 10.45 to chat re report. Now I love my walks but even I know this has to take priority so cancelled walk!

Washed up dishes in kitchen, wiped down worktop, table and window sill and cleaned hob by 8.30 plus got a load in the WM. Feeling strangely content; like everything is going to be OK and just hoping that's not the calm before the storm . Agility at 1 and have to take Z to Scouts for 7.15 but that's all I have planned apart from 10.45 meeting..

    Morning all

Yesterday was a wash out. I went for a nap at 4pm hoping to sleep off the anaesthetic and ended up laying in bed awake until gone 7.30pm. I felt better but still not 100% with it. I did some washing, and watched TV for the rest of the night.

This morning I had a lie in until 10! :D We were supposed to be running errands today, but with loosing yesterday I need to work instead. I've left DD in bed as she's not been feeling too good. I have no idea how much flying is going to happen, but I can tell its going to be a lot less than I hoped. :( WM is on, and my laptop is up and running so time to start work
