A quick  before we disappear off to SW
(((Hugs))) to dancemum - glad you got a bit of a lie-in this morning x
Bright and sunny here today, but bitterly cold with a heavy frost. I need a walk this afternoon (have been doing too much sitting).
Will clean the shower screen and S&S the bathroom in a minute, after I've had my shower. So far this morning I've drunk a cuppa and done some reading and typing.
Hope the shoulder exercises are working, LW.
Catch up later...... Help yourselves to spoons (next to the hob) and sticks (dropped from the ash tree, all over the lawn) x0 -
Good luck at sw Ionafan X
Wm is on
Spacer washed
Crystal clock washed
Small animals washed (should I fling them?)
Dining chairs dusted0 -
Sending vibes to DS2 Dancemum and hope DH's troubles settle down.
Ionafan, fingers crossed for SW!
Been productive this morning already - stripped bed ready to vacuum and re-make, DW loaded ready to run and WM on. Also done my ironing. Now for my cup of coffee to warm up and on with some typing.Flymarkeeteer: £168 and counting0 -
LW- hope the shoulder exercises help
Ionafan- have you been watching great canal journeys? We have been watching it and it has been really interesting.
Jill- welcome! Will this be your first marathon or are you a seasoned runner? I am a running coach and have done London three times so if you want any help or advice feel free to ask. XGrocery challenge- feb 2015- £133.07/£2500 -
I think maybe the way to make this work for me is to use this group for inspiration & somewhere to list what I actually do. Hope everyone ones ok with that.
Absolutely fine - anything that helps you will inspire other people, too.
Quick hugs for CY, Dancemum's DS so that he can enjoy jiggling his coins in a money tin rather than spending them while he's staying out of trouble, Mini-Frizzle and Frizzle herself.
WMx1 all pegged out, Kelpie walked, spice mixed up for chickpea curry tomorrow night and porridge scoffed. Must get on with Frog.Better is good enough.0 -
Been up to Knit & Natter at our Church for just over an hour - I find sometimes it's important for me to get out and mix with other people as I do have a bit of a tendency to become a hermit which is no good for me. Will hang up the washing on the airer and have lunch and then do an hour or so worth of cleaning. Had a phone call from the garage to say our Focus failed on brake pads and disks so having new put in - hopefully it'll be ready to collect later this afternoon as I need a car tomorrow.
Coppers as Honey Bear said, you do what is right for you. There's no right or wrong with any of this; it's just nice to get inspiration to actually do something isn't it!Flymarkeeteer: £168 and counting0 -
Afternoon all.
My body decided that sleep was more important than work today so I had a lie-in until 9am gone.I've put a wash load on, had breakfast and got both laptops up and running (got to love updates on them!). DD is currently watching some TV and I have bills to pay, finances to update and the newsletters for work to write as well as plan who is getting what books. I think its going to be a relatively quiet day here until work this evening. I have faceache today (probably from grinding my teeth while working yesterday) and I still feel tired so want to conserve what energy I have for work tonight.
Off to get some lunch as I'm hungry, then I'll get the finances sorted and on to work. :wave:Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -

Thanks for thr half-term thread Natty.
I've got the week off and am not back to work until Sunday.
I'm flying off list today. Decluttering DD2's bedroom. We are working together and have made good progress.
Food shopping has been delivered and the WM has been on the go since 7am.
Like Dizzy imp the fish tank has been cleaned out.
I've come to the conclusion that I need paid help in the house. I'm working full time hours with the travelling and nobody has lifted a finger to help. I have discussed it with DH and we have informed the 3 working adult children that their rent is increasing to pay for it. Talk about lead balloons! She starts next week hence the declutter mission.
I hope everyone is enjoying the sunshine today.0
