I missed going to our U3A Canals Group this morning because DH took possession of the bathroom just before 9.00 and only emerged at 9.50

So in revenge I decided to blitz the house :D
    I have
    - done all today's list, including vacuuming our mattress and (with DH's help) turning it
    - filed all extraneous paperwork on the spare bed
    - filled 2 bags for the CS
    - done WMx2. Despite the sunshine, I can't summon up the energy to hang anything outside (I think it might freeze on the line) so the TD is also on.
    - whizzed through the rest of the house - not quite a full spring clean, but almost! - and given the bathroom and ensuite a good going over
    - cleaned light fittings in every room with my microfibre dusteronnastick
    - celebrated with a :coffee:

DH has hoovered upstairs and is about to do downstairs when he's finished his :coffee:
i will steam clean the kitchen floor after lunch, then I am done with indoor flying for the week, apart from the dailies :j

Plenty of other work to keep me occupied for the rest of the day.... ;)

Pigpen, what's up now? Have you run out of wool?

That is not even possible.. I have enough to clothe a squillions sheep!! I am just fed up of life in general and feeling unwell and taken for granted and unloved and unwanted so I am being a bit of a beast!! The house is a bin, OHs mother is coming to stay a couple of nights.. Shall I stop now??

3 more binbags filled for ebeast/chazzer/whatever

2 of the required 21 items on ebeast.. Only shoes, nothing exciting.

I found a pair of shoes that made Dot happy.. Not that she deserves them she is behaving appallingly

Solicitor emailed because I cannot speak rationally to them.

I emptied a box into a drawer then filled the box up again!!

Empty box went in the recycling.. I'm now going for food and a cuppa before resuming .. Heehee.. Consuming before resuming!!

Oh.. I need to do a tesco order today too..

Lunchtime update whilst I have my cup of tea.

One load done in WM and drying on the airer, bought yarn and book, typing, put away the shopping, had lunch and shortly going to walk Whiz when I take the car for MOT. Also been looking for other typing jobs as need to know that if I have to I can earn more £s :(.

Er hello! :hello::hello:Anyone remember me ? Ive been MIA for about 6 years!!! And remember asbo-baby ? Well she is now asbo-8-year-old-tomboy who last month broke an iPad screen .... by biting it:mad::mad:

Anyway in my absence from MSE my house has gone to rack and ruin so I'm joining in once again :) Lovely to see so many old names/faces.
Quick catchup - kids now 12,11,8. 12 yr old has Aspergers and ADHD but doing really well in mainstream. 11 yr old off to secondary in Sept. Waiting to hear which one. Hoping same one as 12 yr old else I'll have 3 at 3 different schools for 3 years. I've put on loads of weight  but am training for the London Marathon :eek: which I'm running in aid of the National Autistic Society. So my daily list will be starting with exercise. I'm not working but am running a small craft business from home. Currently my profits are going to the NAS until the marathon. (9 weeks 6 days :eek:)
Looking forward to being back, chatting generally and reclaiming my house! Level 1 for me this week as its half-term and I want to ease into it!

Welcome back Jill! *hums Hotel California;)*

Am still working on the bedroom and am now going for a full on spring clean - pulled out the wardrobe and drawers and have vacuumed behind them. Cleaned behind radiator and gazed at swirling dist bunnies (now trapped in vax) in awe :rotfl: Just stopped for lunch and will go back up when I have had my :coffee:

Also boiler and fire have had their annual service so wiped hearth/fireplace while fire was out (ie removed, not not lit IYSWIM)

Lovely walk with the dog in the sunshine just now. Do I sound weird if I say I stood and watched a buzzard just catching the breezes and circling around way up high? I always find it very restful to watch birds of prey just doing their thing.

Having another cup of tea and will sort out clothes for next load of washing first thing tomorrow. Also I plan to have a go at the floordrobe which actually isn't too bad at all and make the bed. I'll put fresh bedding on tomorrow as my current lot is drying on the airer and I know it won't be ready for tonight.

Welcome to you Jill - I don't think we've met but looking forward to chatting.

Valli isn't it amazing how many dust bunnies you can catch when you pull things out and give them a good going over with the vacuum cleaner.

Pigpen sorry that things are feeling a bit bleugh right now; I would send you a hug but know you don't do them so thinking of you instead.

Frizzle glad to hear Little Miss Frizzle has improved; bet it's lovely for your boys to see their new baby sister.

CY and Skint thinking of you two too; hope you're doing OK.

I am sitting here with Pixie snoring on one chair.. and the cat snoring even louder on the other! he sounds like a pig!

Welcome home Jill of the messy house!!! .. My 15 year old bit her phone screen and broke it a few months ago.. I do wonder sometimes if she is mad!

CY is lurking about on FB so she is still in the land of the living.. maybe just tired.. I always feel like I am intruding and being nosey piping up with a 'how are you!?' .. I assume everyone is as busy as I am supposed to be!

Right.. ebeast.. I have several bags to sift through so I may be some time!! I may need a cuppa first.. and if I stay in here with these dormice I may fall asleep too!
