Morning all. Hope you're all ok. Thanks for the list Natty.
DH starts his new job today and as he's nearer home doesn't have to get up quite so early, so I'm now getting up at the same time as him (5am) so even more time for flying.
So far, I have dusted all the dusty bits in the LR and got the first of two washloads in the machine. Oh and cleared up two lots of wee from OldDog who seems to have lost control of her bladder over the weekend, so that will mean another trip to the vet to get her checked out again.
Right, I'm going to start on the list, bottom up.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.0 -
Morning all. Thanks for the list Natty, and for last week pigpen (very surprised we missed any flying mules last week:D)
Out for Valentines Meal. It was OK. We hadn't realised it was a set menu so the Seafood risotto and Tiramisu I had been planning for all day wasn't available. We came home to nice chocolates and a board game. Oh the high life! It's our 18th Valentines day so we aren't doing too badly, particularly considering that this time last year we were about to go our separate ways.
Spare room half done from last week, but I'll finish it today. Yesterday I ran a hoover round and baked a bit. But the kitchen was sparkly when I came down this morning.:T
Off to walk furry now I can see.
Have a good week everyone.Goals - Weight loss 6/26lb at 22nd Jan 18Mmmm. 26lb at 1/7/18. Oops:o0 -
Morning
Thanks Natty. Another very busy week at work and the kids will need ferrying about so not sure how much time I will have.
Oh and I have woken up to a dusting of snow this morning, anyone else got some? I am terrified of driving in it after sliding off the road some years ago so I am glad its just a dusting, the road is white over though.
Heavy snow showers until 9am according to the met office.
Right, shower, breakfast, packed lunch to make then off to work. Have a good Monday everyone especially those enjoying time off with their kids.0 -
Morning ladies! I'm in again, although it's half term this week, so have lots of children milling about and getting under my feet. I doubt my plans will get very far, but I'll try!
Thank you for last week Pigpen and this week Natty x0 -
Me again. We've a dusting of snow this morning YSL and a few flakes fell while I was walking the dogs.

Morning All
Congratulations Frizzle!
Half term here too so I may manage to join you although DH is also off which tends to curtail my plans a bit and DD isn't feeling well and is wrapped up in her duvet on the settee!
Have a good day all

Kids gone to school again so lovely and peaceful. Sat here with a cup of coffee; I want to do my typing, cleaning and then Mr M coming some time between 11-12. Will have lunch and then need to drive the Focus to the garage for its MOT and master plan is to take Whiz with me and then walk him back through the fields. Much nicer than walking all the way back up the main road I think.
I definitely definitely work better in the morning as am more focussed so going to try to keep to this sort of thing as much as I can leaving the afternoons a bit more free - time will tell if it'll work but it's worth a go isn't it.Flymarkeeteer: £168 and counting0 -
Thanks for the lists Natty and Pigpen, I'm in, in my usual slapdash way.
Huge congrats Frizzle on the safe arrival of Mini-Frizzle; I hope you're both allowed home really soon, but in the meantime that you are beautifully cared for while resting in horse-piddle.
WM x 1 on as it's freezing but absolutely beautiful here; I may squeeze second load in but it depends on an actor abandoning his pit and I think that's unlikely.Better is good enough.0
