Could they get out of it if they explain?
Possibly, but they risk losing their 6 week deposit. And now that they've found it she is obviously very keen to keep it as her journey will be that much shorter than anywhere further north, he was happy to drive to work from there if she was in Croydon, so can't say he isn't now happy to do the same journey.
He says he would have been upset if they had found somewhere awful, but he likes this place - even if it is small.
We've also had a "you know I'm only a bit sad because your leaving home, I do think she is lovely" conversation. To which he replied that he knew that. 7.12 and still doof, doof, doof, doof, doof...
Also - what good are earplugs if I'm trying to watch telly?
Next door's a huge building site, blokes/machinery on site all day long, just 20' from where I sit - I am not aware of them unless I open the patio doors - then they're not noisy.
This lot with the balls are 60' away and I can hear them over the telly, with my patio doors closed. It's the frequency range that causes the pain.
I have a possible solution. It costs nothing, and doesn't involve mass murder! Want to hear what it is?No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -

PN, any chance you could plant rose bushes or holly nearby. Kids will avoid to avert the risk of piercing their footballs.
Rather than swearing, why not invest in a water pistol?I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. No, it's a car parking area. Tarmac, turning areas. Not my land.
The swearing is because the Tourettes starts off.... I can't choose. And I'm sure I'd get a biff on the snout if I rushed out and attacked them with a water pistol.0 -

Pastures, have you thought about speaking to your local council? Your local borough council should have a list and contain the councillor for your part of the borough. My local councillor is really good with stuff like that. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.
