Glad you are recovering SS.
Kids are watching a movie which seems to involve animatronic chipmunks and a pitch range not suitable for ears older than 15I think....0 -
I was back in bed again within an hour of my last post but at least I got to do something approaching normal stuff over Christmas. We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0 -
That's good Sue
I hope you continue to improve today.
Had a good day yesterday; exchanging gifts with DD2 and family in the morning, then tea with DD1 and DSIL.
Am amused to see that I'm being offered two-for-the-price-of-one tickets for the Ideal Home Show, as a thank-you for going to the Ideal Home show At Christmas which I didn't attend0 -
two-for-the-price-of-one ..... Ideal Home Show

I spent a bit of time working on my family tree over the last couple of days. And on December 25th I discovered that I am a descendant of someone called... Sarah Crismas. I so want to find a missing sister called Mary. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

There's a lot of the Christmas family in the areas in the parish registers I've been looking through for ancestors, but I'm not related.
On my paternal side I've a Joseph/Mary who had a son Joseph, who married a Mary. But not Christmas as the surname0 -
I am utterly .... over-stuffed. Eyes bigger than my belly and all out of food sync.
Randomly decided to defrost a slice of bramley apple pie earlier, so that's in a lidded tub defrosting gently.... I then decided to try to use up all the leftovers from Xmas Dinner. I ended up with a plate containing mashed swede, mashed potato, newly made stuffing with chestnuts I added, some shredded turkey meat and more chestnuts, roasted parsnip and gravy. Way too much on the plate, but as I was using it all up and washing up the storage containers I had to just do it.
Just 180 grams of turkey meat in the fridge remaining. I'll put a further dent in that tomorrow.
Can't move ..... that apple pie that looked such a great idea's not looking so great now, maybe by 8-9pm I'll be able to face it0 -
Don't worry, Pastures, you're not alone!:D
Compared with two days ago, or even yesterday, I've hardly eaten anything today!
Well, I say hardly anything.........
The mini Christmas dinner yorkshires, tiny weeny bite-sized things, had to be eaten today, So I had those this morning, together with two wedges of panettone. I was going to eat the last two wedges as well, but couldn't manage them.
That was at about 9.30 this morning, then I ate a small round of goat's cheese at about midday.
Still got a fair bit of stuff in the fridge, but my appetite's gone!
Must be all those calories from the single malts!(I just lurve spiders!)
