"This is a wife. She looks happy, doesn’t she? That is because she is on her second glass of wine."
That is from the book my DW bought me for my birthday. The Ladybird how it works series for adults, this one is titled The Wife.
I have the one titled "How it works: The Mum". I love it.This is a mum.
A mum has two very important jobs to do. One is to look after her children.
The other is to do everything else as well.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0 -

You can either eat them with a knife and fork, or just go for it bare-handed and make a goddam-awful mess, licking your fingers afterwards.(I just lurve spiders!)

I didn't buy them all... unless only one trifle was made in the whole country this year.
The 99p Aldi trifle has no cakey bits that I can remember seeing. It's strawberries in jelly, then custard, then piped cream. I am a big fan of the cakey bits..... and the custard and the cream, not so much fruit/jelly bits.
I bought the last one in the shop! But it was £2.49. DSIL and I enjoyed it though
ETA I bought the Ladybird "How it Works: The Dog" and "The Cat" for brother and sister-in-law, and "The Dog" for DD1 and DSIL. much amusement had by all!0 -
I'm up! Managed to do the boxing day buffet at my parent's house with lots of help and even managed to have a few bits to eat.We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
