Good job I'm still stuffed, else all these food pics would have me running down to the kitchen!

Mind you, if I do get peckish, I have crisps, fruits and salted almonds within stretching distance, plus some single malt miniatures.

Just had a cheeky portion of trifle :)

Thinking about my dinner today - and next year - next year it needs to be darker (cooked longer) ... and less veggies. A plate of turkey, yorkshires, stuffing, roasties and gravy will do... few brussels, bit of carrot... but that's it. I like the turkey/yorkshire/stuffing bits best.

Doing fewer things will mean I can be bothered to wait a bit longer/cook them until they go a darker colour. It's all cooked, but it'd have just been a bit nicer if it'd been browned more. I don't brown food often as I'm just keen to get to the eating bit, so I tend to eat most foods lighter in colour, rather than waiting :) I'll also cook the turkey on the day now I'm sure how long it takes in the slow cooker. Or I might just buy a ready cooked turkey portion ....

EDIT: Just had a 2nd portion of trifle. Just one lonely 1/3rd of a trifle to go :)

I ended up collapsed in a bed upstairs at my parent's house. I carried on until I couldn't do it anymore which luckily was after the main meal had been served, so instead of gorging on lovely things, I have had barely anything today.

Such a rock star lifestyle, in bed watching telly on the laptop by 6pm.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

Ouch! Why don't you get dinner served to you in bed, though? You should be a lady of leisure, at least for today.
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

We arrived in Sheringham and turned on the hot water. No hot water, so immersion heater has packed in. There seem to be no shops open that sell the things until Wednesday. We are going to be so pongy!

Assuming you don't have swimming gear .... find a small/local hotel and phone to ask them if you can pop round for a shower.

Something wrong with my eyes. For a moment there, I thought you suggested staying in an hotel.

No appetite to be honest, most evil cold I have had for some time.
