Oh dear - apparently my CV is worth half my salary :(

I just uploaded the "last one I sort of half did, that's pretty much not changed much since I wrote it 4 years ago, so probably needs a bit of a re-write"

    It said I'm worth £57,288

Worth ... and getting ... two different planets with no transport between them!

The difference between worth and getting is belief and, therefore, action.

You are obviously earning well beneath your capability. You are earning beneath anyone's capability. I was talking about you last night, saying how you'd be the sort of person that could be the right help for someone I know.

You could actually be a brilliant VA without even leaving your house.

Michaels could have a better cv or doesn't need one. That's his difference between worth and getting. The CV doesn't even need to speak.

Glad you've had a great time Doozer. The photo was beautiful.

    I wouldn't want to either!
I was absent as I "tragedy binge" and found another one ... so had a binge-fest on that. Who was there? Who died? Who were they? Why did they all get to be at that place?

    .

If you wrote everything as a novel PN, people would think it was far-fetched!

Don't know if anyone remembers the saga of the Italian tyre from a few weeks back - in brief, blowout on a Friday near Genoa, ATS couldn't get one till Monday, after 5 hours a helpful haulier found us another tyre company and they came and sorted within two hours. Bill arrived £1068.00. Along with the delay costs and sednig another driver out because they were going to be out of hours, cost well over £2.5k.

Old adage, how do you get to be a millionaire in haulage? Start with £2 million....;)

Painful! Out of interest, how much is a tyre for a HGV?

My big news today is that youngest has been offered an interview for a part time job!

I think I now know the entire history of the company.....yep, he has been researching them.

Practically speaking, I have no idea how he will handle an interview as he doesn't like talking about himself, blimey, he doesn't really like talking to people full stop but the big driver for him at the moment is how much he can earn. He has going to uni head on and is in the looking towards the target mode, the same mode which got him his A* A last year in a course he didn't like and wasn't much interested in, in his quest to get onto level 3.

Despite his autism, he is very like me. He will do things that are out of his comfort zone to ensure he reaches his end goal.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

Just seen Duck out in the bay. They're racing today, just rounded a mark. Looks like currently she's 4th out of 11. So not doing too bad if they don't make a stupid mistake! Suspect they may have one more mark and then to the finishing line. Fingers crossed! OH will be pleased if they don't come last. ;)
