Evidently you are a very bad person CK. Maybe you could go get her an iron lung and save her the effort of breathing;)

Having read the posts before they were deleted, this really made me chuckle:rotfl:
Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

I'm in a little disbelief that she's serious......

I've just got back in (been out since about 6), so awaiting the knock on the door as I didn't reply to the last messages last night.

If I'm upstairs (as now), it will probably be ignored, as I have stuff to do today, and ideally don't want to be interrupted in doing it.

Sorry ck, I missed your deleted posts.

Reading an article in last weekend's paper about exercising your brain, OH and I have been using an app/ website called lumosity all week. It's meant to exercise your brain by playing amusing little games. There are 6 categories and I was beating OH in 5 out of 6. One week later I am slightly ahead overall, but he is now winning in 5 out of 6. My numerical score is high enough to put me in the lead overall, but the victory is now feeling slightly hollow.

I was absent as I "tragedy binge" and found another one ... so had a binge-fest on that. Who was there? Who died? Who were they? Why did they all get to be at that place?

Then the usual sobbing as I uncovered little snippets :(

I do love a good/true tragedy .... all the "what happened next", but as this one's relatively recent it's harder to trace anything/anybody - and some are still alive... although not many as "everybody" pretty much died.

This was a luxury gaff and a daytrip. It seems the widowed cleaner got the chance to let the posh people take her two kids on the nice daytrip - nice as it'd be an experience never before done by poor kids ... but they died. These days somebody'd be prosecuted for some manslaughter charge ... but the main man responsible died (everybody present died) - and the main owner got a "small fine" for not ensuring the bloke who caused it was qualified to do it.

    So I had a sob.

But the cleaner remarried .... but he died... so I had a sob.

Then she died 2 years ago .... so I had a sob ... and, strangely, in her obituary it mentions a 3rd child I didn't know about, who had also died, so I had a sob.

Not sure where that 3rd child sprang from, can't find anything on them. No idea whether it was pre-1st marriage; of 1st marriage; of 2nd marriage ... or what.
