Oh dear, think my rant killed the thread!

Sue, you're more than welcome to have a rant, I've done so enough in the last few weeks :)

In other news, I've got a problem that's been hanging overhead since April sorted out this morning, which is as a result of a very complex problem that has only been made more complex since the problem started.

Currently trying to juggle 4 different organisations in order to find a single solution, whilst considering other things, whilst trying to ensure I have a roof over my head at the same time, so trying to work out how I've ended up in the situation I've ended up in, whilst not losing the will to live.

There are a fun few months ahead, methinks......

It's quite alright for the thread to be quiet. You could film a disaster movie in London right now, so many people must be away on their holibobs.

I just hadn't got anything worth posting about :), but feel  on your behalf!

ETA CK That all sounds horribly complicated, but I suppose at least you can't say your life is boring at the moment!

I'm ridiculously tired after sorting out a load of books and papers that had accumulated behind my chair. I'd been thinking for ages that it looked a terrible mess, but somehow hadn't got around to doing anything about it.

A lot of it turned out to be stuff from an OU History module I wasn't able to finish. I decided to hang on to it for the time being because it's so interesting anyway, and if I haven't looked at it again by next August I'll try to make myself get rid of it. I did get rid of a lot of paper and tided the books, and it looks much better now.

i found two brand new notebooks too. I don't think my son-in-law (mature student nurse atm) would want them - one is pink, the other's purple :D

Wasn't there talk of going elsewhere? I wondered if that had been implemented?

I have sent you a private message.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

The only way to stop things that I value from going walkabouts is to make sure I choose pink colours. So bright pink colours for my ipad, iphone leads etc.

Doesn't work for me with tools!

I'm on holibobs but suffering from a week camping without interweb, so having a nice binge from the comfort of a real bed.

My favourite picture so far, taken by Doozer. The scenery here is breathtaking. Forgiving on any photographer. Just shot on an iPhone.

I've deliberately described it in a confusing way to give an idea of how confusing this is.

On top of doing what I should be doing, I'm trying to sort many other things to coincide with it, which only has the effect of working about 5 full-time jobs whilst trying to get everything in order to create 5 full-time jobs, which due to various factors has become about as difficult as being in NY 90 minutes before you left London has since 2003.

I keep a spreadsheet of what I'm doing per hour, and I'm too scared to tot up the totals......

hope you get round to it.

There should be no issue with the colour of notebooks, if they're free for him, then :money:

    Good lateral thinking:money:

    Great pic Doozer, very jealous.

CK let me know how it goes on top important business meetings when you get your pink pen and your pink stationary out. It should really impress. Good luck with your multiple schemes, but don't kill yourself in the process.

:rotfl:at the thought of CK pulling out a hot pink notebook and sparkly pink biro at a business meeting! I guess if you wore pink DMs on your feet, it might co-ordinate and persuade others that you were to be afeared rather than anything else :D

Good luck with the juggling though.

Lovely piccie DG. It's so restful to look at a body of water in good weather.

Getting ready for the Olympics tomorrow. I'm not convinced I'll stay up for the opening ceremony as I've a busy weekend and am still trying to catch up sleep from the 230am bedtime last Friday after trying to do a back-up.

Blimey - just heard that Judge Goddard has resigned from being Chair of the enquiry into non-recent child sexual abuse. That's the 3rd Chair in a short time. It'll be a nightmare to find someone else who's willing to do it. I think she came from NZ or somewhere else far away.

Morning everyone. I pulled out a minions note book at an important business meeting with new people. Thought they might think I am mad (which is possibly accurate) but it actually really broke the ice and got people talking.
