Not doing that! I do what I enjoy doing, not what I'm qualified to do or have a history of doing. No more rat race, no more long commutes...
Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

I've never had a CV and I don't have a Linkedin either. I guess I'd be paid NMW if I did have it though......

I only have a 'company cv' which is used when we are bidding for pieces of work so the format is not very like what you would send out if applying for a job, my linked in has even less info. I'm not looking for a job but thought it was a bit of fun....
    I think....

I'm not actually qualified to do anything! Back in the day, to do the job I did and reached the heights in, you didn't need qualifications...it was all on the job training with no certificates. The only 'qualification' I did get was in BS5750 quality standards and then the further whatever it became customer service quality standards but then we all had to do that when the company was going after the British standards logo.

My CV would probably be worth a go away, you're not even worth minimum wage.

Experience however is a different matter...just no bits of paper to prove it and a great big disability to put people off.

    Hmm, think I am beggered.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

    I've never had a CV ..

I only ever had one because every now and then the company had a push for everyone to do one - never had to use it though.

I had a total of nine roles in 29 years with the company and was headhunted/selected for all except two of them. I only ever got interviewed twice - when I first started and when I went for my first promotion, the latter really just being a box-ticking exercise because I was already doing the higher grade job but it had to be done formally to give me the substantive promotion.

The second promotion, the first I knew about it was when the boss collared me one day and informed me that, in recognition of the work I'd been doing for him, he'd had me "made up". Even better, early the following month he asked if I'd seen the pay increase and how much it was. I told him it was 5% (the normal on promotion) to which the reply was "Cheeky s*ds, I told personnel to make it 10%. I'll see them and sort it right now." and off he went to give them a piece of his mind. It worked, because the next month my pay had gone up by another 5% and was backdated to the previous month. Made up was definitely the word for that ;)

Mind you, although I enjoyed all the various roles I had, I much prefer the one I have now :rotfl:

    10% is a nice rise:beer:

I've worked for myself for 25 years, so I suspect I could amke it look really good by flinging in words such as strategic or whatever is buzzy at the minute.

Better summed up, worked hard, got lucky here and there.:o

My cv was current about 16 years ago!

Worked for myself since then, no further qualifications.

The last random qualification I got was a certificate that qualified me to teach in further education only. Just looked it up and (a) it is no longer offered and (b) it is no longer accepted as being sufficient to do that. :(

I was once a member or fellow(ess) of the Royal Statistical Society, but I let that lapse. To resurrect that I would need peer recommendations. Having not worked in that field for over a decade I have no peers. :(

I think you should be describing yourself as 'peerless' (defined as
unequalled; unrivalled; being such as to have no match; incomparable) :D;)
