Cheers all. She's fine. Plenty of bruises, a couple of days off work and a story to tell. Plus she's written off the car I've been tryingto decide to get rid of.0

So glad all is as well as possible Gen!
I wonder if the plan is to hold Anniversary Games in London every four years from 2012? Nice idea if so.0 -

Glad Mrs G is OK - hopefully there won't be any whiplash type ligament injuries that turn up once the brusing has gone done. Also hopefully the insurance company will make things as painless as possible.
WE have 2 cars, an old unreliable one and a new one. 4 weeks after we got the new one DW decided to drive into someone at a roundabout (to be fair they did pull out straight in front of her) but sadly this was in the new car that was worth fixing (although it took about 2 months before they did it properly). Had it happened in the old car it would have been ideal.
This was all 15 months ago, low speed impact, no injuries total claim cost perhaps 2.5k. We are still waiting for the two insurance companies to agree liability even though no doubt both parties will be found to be to some extent to blame so that the insurance companies can deduct the NCD and excess from both drivers....I think....0 -

Love to Mrs G, Mr G. I do hope there's no lasting damage. It must have been terrifying. I witnessed a horrid accident on the M5 recently. Really shook me up. To be in one is worse!
Sue, you are a shining star. Keep working on that old confidence.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.
