I'm off to get "something nice" at Lidl... not sure what. Might be cheesecakes involved. I'll just wander round until something cheap catches my eye :).

Back ... bit of a piggy haul :)
    Spent about £6.

    Bought 3 bananas ... they're "healthy"... right?

Haul turned out to be: 3 cheesecakes, 6 cans of fizzy pop (sugar free), packet of crumpets, carton of coronation chicken sandwich filler, HUGE slab of fruit cake (not bought that before), 5 nice sausage rolls, a loaf of bread and 3 bananas.

So much food/choice, but you can't have everything (even if you try).

Things admired, but not purchased: 6-packs of crisps, sweeties in the sweetie aisle, chocolate covered mini rolls (pack of 10).

I stopped looking after I'd "got enough stuff" though.

That all sounds right up your street Pastures, and after all, what else is the point of food shopping if not to buy the things you like best?

I like this time of year because I can buy all the fruits I enjoy most and which don't make my tummy hurt. We have a local greengrocer. Today we bought cherries, peaches and raspberries, all much nicer than the ones in the supermarkets.

Have got Wimbledon on the telly but also keeping an eye on the rest of the matches via the App on the phone.

Lleyton Hewitt and his Aussie men's doubles partner are in an almighty tussle in the 1st round; they've just broken the other pair at 18-17 in the final set (best of 3)!

Yes, I liked Nelly and his stories of the poo pipe down his garden.

Just trying to find him ... wherever he could be.

First find was this explanation by him of why he got banned from here:
Swearing and abuseing the retards mainly about the smoking ban.

There was all these w@nkers saying how great it was, when non of them actually went to the pub they were all sat on MSE all night swapping pictures of their f*ckin cats for a social life.

Absolutely brilliant. I remember belly laughing at him.

Doozer just howled when I read that out to him.

    I bought crumpets.
    I fancy a muffin.
I have no muffins; I have crumpets.
Why did I buy crumpets when I could've bought muffins?

But, at the time, I didn't 'fancy' either of them, only got the crumpets as they're a bit of a "stock item/small/easily frozen".

Having said that, if I had muffins I'd then be eggless ... and I'd fancy having poached eggs on toasted muffins ....

So now not sure if it's worse to have crumpets and fancy muffins -or- to have muffins and wish I also had eggs.

I bought muffins last week. I was really looking forward to them but they were so disappointing.

If that makes you feel any better.

Woman wins appeal to use dead daughter's eggs

This is just as creepy as the headline sounds. A 60 year old woman wants to give birth to her own grandchildren.
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?
