Life's a b1.tch, ain't it Pastures! :rotfl:

Do you know, I was thrilled she'd won that case!
In the circumstances, I think she's wonderful!
I wish her every happiness.
(We can only imagine what it's like to walk in her shoes.)
I'm sooooo pleased!
Nah, weirdo. Daughter weird as well, why would you want your mother to have your baby, you aren't going to know about it.This afternoon I offered a lift to a young man with a large back pack. I dropped him off at a local campsite, only about a quarter mile but up a steep hill and just before the heavens opened. He is walking around around Great Britain viaall the National Parksand has only been going a few days. he started in Brighton and is raising funds for the Mental Health Foundation. I offered to pick him up again at 7pm if he wanted to have dinner with us. DD has taken him back to his campsite now. He is fed and watered and phone charged. He told us he had saved up and given up his job to do this. He expect it to take about 7 months. Never went to Uni. Never had time off before. Aged 30. Wants to challenge himself. Good luck to him. Will follow his progress on FB.
I have followed a few blogs and books on people that have walked round the coast of Britain, something I would love to do, but can't imagine being able to do, though you never know what's round the corner. I've never had time off and I'm 52!0 -

The best (funniest) book I've read about that was 500 Mile Walkies, by Mark Wallington. He'd never done much walking, nor camping, but he set off to do the South-West Coast Path with his dog Boogie and a set of borrowed equipment.
It was hilarious, but the best bits I remember were that every night the tent had a different number of corners. :rotfl:0 -

After the event of the last 10 days, nothing is weird. Nothing will surprise me.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

Would that make your baby your sister?
Beyond weird.
I know of someone that had their late husband's child, 3 years after he had died. I thought that was slightly strange. They had married young and had no children, he had been ill when they married and passed away soon after. His sisters all had children about the same time as she had his child. So now there are family photos of his side with all these little kids, without him.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. There are definitely weird things going on. Threads are being bumped that are months out of date when I know there are things behind the scenes. It makes me wonder if people are trying to take advantage of MSE to gain £££ or shut it down.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. I'll have to get that, sounds good. I'm currently reading Simon Armitage's book about his walk along the SWCP delivering poetry readings as he travels.0
