Years ago I did easyjet luton to Glasgow for the day for meetings - they have gradually over time made the short stay parking less convenient and more expensive
Today consists of getting DD1 ready for a 5 day trip to Normandy (any one know where we could get a beret for her to wear to the French themed disco?) and also hopefully getting DW to put some of the ten million grown out of clothes on ebay as there is a free listing, 75% off final value fees offer this weekend.
Stripey pullover and a garland of onions? No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -
I think that, unless Gen is reinstated, I shall take my UGC elsewhere. It's not very good UGC, and I've nothing against you guys, but I'd like there to be a cost to the website, however tiny, for kicking Gen when he's down.No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0

That would sad and a double blow for the rest of the NP.
I'm sure Gen is capable of finding a way to return under the radar should he wish to. Maybe he wishes to take a break?

NP may wish to vote on this. Better get in quickly, before the mods censor it!
The mad plasterer....it wasn't nelly, was it? i seem to remember he was a plasterer.
Sue Greenwich is my local Uni, and I went to an Open Day there some years ago when I was thinking of applying to do a History degree (I didn't in the end, as they said I'd need to do an Access course first and the only ones I could find were full time, which I couldn't have managed...). It's a bit of an odd place. The buildings are beautiful from outside, but have been converted into ordinary-sized rooms etc. but with the original immensely high ceilings! In the part we saw, at any rate. So it looked a little odd.
There was a guided tour, but the student leading it sped off at such a pace that we (DD1 had come with me) couldn't keep up and had to give up on that before we'd seen anything at all. I felt like the little lame boy from Hamelin who was left behind when all the other children went into the mountain! So do make sure they know you can't rush!
De Montfort, I remember DD2 getting their prospectus (this was 20 years ago) and all it seemed to tell you about was the wonderful social life and very little info about their courses!

I think a lot of what I had disappeared ... and I've not even got round to finding out why/when.... except I must've missed a bill or something that was buried in my email avalanche.

What's UGC?
PPRs are usually temporary. Sometimes they're quite short too, 2 or 3 weeks etc.
Didn't he say that he had email contact with one or two of you?
IF I remember correctly, his hospital appointment is this coming Thursday.(I just lurve spiders!)

UGC is user generated content. It's what makes this a valuable website for the owners. Without the UGC, people might visit once or twice, but they would not come back. So, the owners would not have anyone to advertise to and sell products to.No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0

Pyxis I understand PN used to have a website elsewhere. I never saw it though. But the NP always referred to it as "the other place".
I don't know what UGC is either, GDB, but please don't go if that's what it would mean. We'd miss you, and as others have said, it's quite bad enough losing Gen, especially at the moment.
(Ah, I've seen your reply now, thanks.)0
