Nice People Thread No. 15, a Cyber Summer

No. I use the 'New posts' link at the top of the page and often click in to most new posts that appear. I realise that you're upset about your friends PPR but it must be very tiresome for you all to hold a grudge for so long.
Generali has been my friend for 10 years. When he went through his cancer diagnosis treatment two and a half years ago, I shed tears for him, his wife and his two children every day. I wanted to help him. I care deeply for him, hold him in high regard and I know that the nice people do too.
You, on the other hand, know nothing about him and are still revelling in the attention you receive from talking about him. I am sorry that you seem unable to gain value from making positive contributions and have to seek our attention from such a sad event.
Yes, he might be ill again. He may have been drinking that day for him to behave like that but we can all see the extenuating circumstances and one swallow does not make a summer.
You know that, you seem to accept that there may have been a reason for it but yet you're wandering around like a new kid teling us to get over it all the time. People aren't happy with you and yet you just keep digging your hole.
I have never held a poster in lower esteem.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

You all know damn well that I was not the only person responsible for the PPR. He !!!!ed a whole lot of people off that day, I'm just one of the two not cowardly enough to own up to reporting. If it had been anyone else acting in the same way they would also have been PPR'd.
I know how devastating cancer can be. My son was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumour at the age of 2, my dads sister died from it and one of her sons is currently dying from. Nobody deserves to go through that.
No one on the countless threads that he was having his melt down on knew anything about any health issues until after the PPR. Maybe take that in to consideration on your judgemental high horse. If I had known and knowing first hand the affects of cancer, I wouldn't have reported him.0 -
I really couldn't care what any faceless anonymous person on this forum thinks of me. If you don't want me to respond then stop directing posts at me - it's nothing to do with attention seeking.

If you wouldn't have reported him, had you known about his health issues, wouldn't you like to vote for his reinstatement now?No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -

So, what's the plan, Nice People? For today?
We have two outdoor invitations today, which I am nervous about. I may have to prepare myself to be showered on.
I also need to get some smart clothing for DS as he has work experience this week. He may have to cope being seen with his mum in public. Where does the time go?
I have to get dressed and get down to site first. The headache I have this morning far exceeds the half bottle of champers I consumed yesterday evening. I'd have drunk more if I'd knownEverything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

I don't like champagne. Or, more to the point, I don't like champagne at the price I am prepared to pay for it.
My trip to Edinburgh taught me always to carry a rain jacket. Lovely people, the Scots, but they get rained on a lot.No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -

Yeah, my sister couldn't understand why I chose to move to the Lake District when I retired, saying, "Oh but it always rains there."
To which I replied, "If it didn't rain a fair bit, it'd only be called the Puddle District."
:rotfl:
Anyway, it's still nice despite the rain - and fantastic during the times between the rain0 -
