Surely an EHIC would be valid until we have actually left the EU.
If it's not just down for routine maintenance, I suppose they could be adjusting the system so that new EHICs aren't valid for longer then two years.
    I'm only surmising though :)

Probably just over-stressed from all those young "Remainers" worried about getting broken legs when they party in Ibiza next month ... and checking if they're covered to get home.

Tonight, on Channel 4, at 8pm, there's that "lost films of the British Army" - where they found some old reels recorded in WW2 of husbands/fathers sending messages home to loved ones - and the reels had a full list of who was in each shot. So they traced all the relatives/descendants of those who were filmed and invited them to watch the greetings.

Should be fascinating, but heart-wrenching at the same time as those watching might not've seen it before. They might be, say, 60-70 and watching a message sent to their mum. Or 70-75 and never met their dad as he died before they were born.

I think a couple of the old boys are still alive and they get to watch their own film for the first time ever.

So I went on the indesit website, found the right part for my dishwasher and ordered it from elsewhere as it was £15 cheaper.

Went to fit it today and discovered it doesn't fir. Phoned indesit who confirmed there were two versions of the part even though it doesn't mention it on their website, they refuse to give out the part number but I can order the correct one from them for £60 - £25 more than the other wrong part.

    Two anoyances imho:
That the website makes no mention of the possibility that the part it claims is the correct one might not be
That they deliberately try and make it impossible for you to find out what the correct part is so that you can only order it direct from them at inflated prices.

Don't forget the only reason I am ordering the part in the first place is that it has only lasted 22 months on a new machine

Obvious solution is to order it from indesit, then return it under DSR, after reading the part number.
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

Hello you. Would you like to buy a Mini? How are the twinnies??

I need a bigger car not a smaller one. I reckon we would need three minis to transport all the carp for the twins! I hope it hasn't broken down!

The twins are nearly 16 months old now. Ella attacks all electronic items, including cameras, on sight and with extreme prejudice hence the few photos we have all feature her about to assault the photographer. Sofia plays by herself in the corner and says "bubble, bubble, bubble, pop" over and over again for about 16 hours a day. I am exhausted.

I have a little turtle, his name is Tiny Tim
I put him in the bath tub to see if he could swim
He drank up all the water
and ate up all the soap
Now he's in his bed with a bubble in his throat
    Bubble bubble bubble
    Bubble bubble bubble
    Bubble Bubble pop!

Sofia has good taste in nursery rhymes!

    They are very cute chewy!

At first I thought you meant the turtles were chewy!

I have never heard that nursery rhyme....is it relatively recent?

Wow, so beautiful! Helps having atttractive parents!

The car is perfect, still. The boot handle has just stopped working, but that can be sorted. I bought an impractical new car for me. We have two impractical cars. In all honesty, Doozer does not care and it is the big Mini sat on the verge outside our house with a for sale sign in the window. He had the wheels refurbished for sale, loves them and then that now seems to be the end of the argument.

He got angry when I suggested that his idea of selling mine and hiring a car for the airport trip to Heathrow in a few weeks might be a little expensive, given that it will be sat in a car park for three weeks waiting for us to return. :o
