I like flip flops and usually buy a pink paiir and a black+white pair that has summer holidays sorted. I dont like hard between the toe bits so always get the same soft spongy ones

Even buying something from surfdome makes me feel cool.
These days it is hader to keep left flip flop on as tone in foot and toes reacts.
Bought Kurt Geiger flip flops at an airport once. White and silver.Horrible hard things worn for few hours. Sent to jumble on return from the holiday.
DD went backpacking with a pair of havianas and her walking boots. the flip flops wore down to wafer thin and were binned on her last stopover.

Well, delighted to report that my petition is up and live on the petition website!
:rotfl:
The Radar key is a good idea, I have one, but not all disabled people will do. The first time I came across the scheme was in a motorway service station and I didn't have a key then. Fortunately I could still just about manage to walk from wheelchair into Ladies (while OH guarded the wheelchair) so it wasn't the disaster it could have been!
I have to say I haven't looked at all the rules for getting a Radar key, so I don't know if they're available for people with mental health conditions who might need to use disabled toilets (I'm thinking Autism here as I know a tiny bit about that, but I suspect there will be more conditions that would need ).
Anyway, I'm putting the link up here so any of you who want to can sign.
But DQWD as my full name is on it. Please share via the social networking links on the website.

when I spot a random man in my garden! pasturesnew that so reminds me of the time that newish next door change it all neighbours appeared in our back garden with statements...like we wish to put up a six foot fence where your low wall is...we answer in sinco...we will have no light in our kitchen...there answer is oooo.. apart from repeatedly saying I am sure it will be alright...at that point I lost it all husband can see past the cr"p..me not possible at this stage of there 2 year very close incounter constructions.....I did ask them to leave several times but constant I am sure it will be alright...NO IT WILL NOT BE ALRIGHT....eventually they left realizing we are not destined to live in a dark kitchen...ever...we actually had a right to light act protecting us...thanks to some rules....It is not very pleasant when people just appear in your garden without any ring of a bell or warning....our back garden in Bexhill on Sea was odd in that our front door was at the side and then the side way would lead to the back garden without any other gate...0

I got one for Josh when he got his diagnosis (I didn't know about them, social services organised it for me) but he also had the complication of a bowel disorder at the same time. Mainly he got it for the Aspergers though..
I just use his now instead of getting one of my own, he doesn't feel right using it now he is an adult. We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.

Re summer shoes, I use the Sketchers version of a fit flop, very comfortable and long lasting, had the same pair for 3 years now. Getting a begger finding those now though as they changed their lines and the new version doesn't look as good.We made it! When we bought our first house the batteries on the doorbell ran out and for a while we didn't bother replacing them. People would phone if they wanted to visit and we didn't need any other callers. Door--to-door salesmen never sell what we want and we don't need a new religion, thanks very much.:)There is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0

I wear flip flops, the more girly the better, but would not be seen dead in Crocs (sorry). I have a pair if Havaianas, but don't like them as they are too plain. I rather like the accessorize one's, something like these...

I don't wear flip flops for walking about, strictly for the beach or the spa. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing?
