    My shoe collection

One pair of every day flats, purchased for £12 2 years ago and worn pretty much every day.

One pair of smart heels (£15) for interviews/going out, new last year after replacing the previous pair which had lasted for 10 years.

One pair of Sketchers fit flop like things, 2 years old and purchased for £25

I've got 4 pairs of shoes; work, casual, boots and trainers.

Work are black leather and around 18 months old now. Casual are a black suede. Both are slip on. Walking boots are brown suede, and trainers are black, because I usually put them on when working.

I've almost being bankrupted keeping OH in shoes, so please don't get my started :)

not a great immune system so you would be very liable to infections at the very least so hoping you know what supplements you can take to help that issue....i was put in a coma for a few days many years ago now to save my life basically and they told me my immune system was being rebuilt..never understood that at all..how does that possible workout.. but I guess it all turned out fine eventually as a new person came out from that experience that was not the same person that went into it... life is a real learning curve never know where its going to take you;)
    ...regards Dianne

    Many thanks :)

I'm going back to sleep in a minute, although just woke up thirsty. Cup of black tea should solve the trick.

I still don't feel like 'me', after various health problems a few years ago, and not being able to do some of the things that I was doing before is annoying at times, but as you probably know, you find ways around it.

I tweeted it for you. :)
Sorry you're feeling carp, and also that you have worries. Sending Strengthening Vibes and hopes you can get a decent restful rest soon. :)

I'm liking the visual links to a shoe collection! It's interesting to see someone's shoe style without seeing them!

I live in these for at least 6 months of the year:

    Then I'll switch to these:

    And these for holidays:

I like having comfortable feet and often wear my boots with skirts and dresses like it's still the 90s, but I bought myself these for Christmas:

And I like Red or Dead shoes. A bit funky like Fly London. :)

I have too many shoes. Pumps, flip flops, sandles, short boots, long boots, low heel shoes, trainers. Winter wear is generally black, summer wear requires a variety of colours to match outfits.

It's a good airport to fly from and right on the doorstep. Ryanair are huge there. It's also easier to get into central London than Gatwick IMO (Stansted Express)

Bit of history on Stansted as an airport here.

Landside isn't that bad (although I literally turn up and go straight through security). Airside has a lot there, and there are (I believe) 2 new lounges.

The new Sat 1 carpet really irritates me though.

If you think that's bad you should try walking around Singapore airport, the carpet hypnotises you!

It could be. An agent by proxy .... and you've not yet revealed that you're returning to London later on in the year.

On the balance of expectations though, it's not you as there's no room for a pool, which I suspect is now compulsory.

Is that the nice neighbour who used to do useful things?

    That's a shame. If so.

    Will delete if requested.

Actually we are considering moving but to Canberra not London. A pool is great there as it's a necessity in summer and doubles as an ice rink in winter!

Re Louboutins. I love this story about the older sister who made baby sister a pair for her school prom, it even has 'how to' photos:
