I also remember meeting an NP once .... and they pointed out we're both wearing black Crocs. Wonder who that was ..... :)

Well, I'm sure you haven't met me - but the comment would apply!
I wear them to work when I am working at the engineering factory. I am mostly in the office but they are great when I have to go through the factory.
In fact, I wear them most of the time. My feet are too big for womens' shoes...

I am in theory in favour but in reality find they always rub your feet raw and have even ended up wearing socks with such attire because the blisters were too painful. This was a double win because it also meant no one was willing to go out with me dressed like that saving the costs of holiday trips out.

I've found the cheap crappy ones are, ermm, crappy. I pretty much live in them on the weekend.

Can't say I am a fan of flip-flops but the alternative is the croc, which is probably an arrestable offence for the fashion police.

now wellie shoes on wet grass days crocs on dry grass days...must say the new pond is certainly taking shape now:)

Same goes for flip flops. Anything crappy and the toe socket will come loose or you get raw skin around the toe area. Buy a decent pair and they are very comfy. I usually keep my eye out for fitflops in the sale. The toe bit is leather, not plastic or rubber.

    Can I rant?

Bl00dy furreners. Or do I mean bl00dy rude people. Or do I mean bl00dy illiterate AND thick people ....

But that is all because he is thick, not because he is foreign or illiterate. He couldn't read the number, which would look the same in any language.

Not quite visualised the scenario...Did he walk round the back of your house to get in the back garden?? What a nerve! If it was front garden then that's different, I think.

I like flip flops and usually buy a pink paiir and a black+white pair that has summer holidays sorted. I dont like hard between the toe bits so always get the same soft spongy ones

    https://www.surfdome.com/animal_flip_flops_-_animal_swish_placement_flip_flops_-_sugary_pink-23

Even buying something from surfdome makes me feel cool.

These days it is hader to keep left flip flop on as tone in foot and toes reacts.

Bought Kurt Geiger flip flops at an airport once. White and silver.Horrible hard things worn for few hours. Sent to jumble on return from the holiday.
DD went backpacking with a pair of havianas and her walking boots. the flip flops wore down to wafer thin and were binned on her last stopover.

Mine used to mostly be yellow/white, back in the day. Sometimes blue/white, I think I remember one red/white pair. 1960s .... times were simpler.

Sorry, I still can't visualise it but never mind, feel sure my being able to visualise what he did is not important. Have you got your number on your back gate? (Or the gate he walked through to access your garden?)
